"We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful house, Kaethe the owner and her son are such lovely and helpful, make you feel comfortable straight away. "Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). "The house is better than the photos portray. It is quiet, feels almost rural, and is within an easy walk to the town square. The garden looks out over the sea across a mini vineyard and beautiful tropical plants. "Le Maria is a very nice house with a wonderful pool and garden area. A happy herd of cows lives on the other side of the garden wall and the clanging of their bells gives a tranquil countryside feel. The owners Graziella and Sara were extremely helpful and responsive. We did not have the problems with electricity mentioned in other reviews. The kitchens (there are two) are generally well equipped but some more pots, pans, kitchen knives and chopping boards would be good to have."

"Visited Noto once again and returned to the Sofia (tried a B&B last year but not a great experience) so back to the Sofia and as always the all the staff are friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - The rooms are clean and comfortable - however it would be nice to have Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which I thought was standard for the 4* hotel.
