There are several bad reviews of this property but I just rented a room there and the staff was friendly, room was clean, and the place was decent. It’s also one block away from the ocean. It’s not luxurious but it definitely deserves a try.

I never stayed here. I booked a night and was called by the front office telling me my room was directly above a bar. Since I have a young baby, that was unacceptable and was told they’d cancel my room. It was never cancelled and I was charged anyway! DONT TRUST THIS PLACE!

Close to the beach. Hotel was ok for our needs( a close place to sleep after a Friday night football game. ) The room was huge with a modicum of furniture. Clean. Great bed. Shower had quite a bit of mold but hot and forceful! VERY NOISY as it was above a bar and trolley/bus line

A big room with a view of the Pacific, One thing: the shower barely got warm enough to feel comfortable. I like a bit more margin. Funny, but the sink water was fine. But I've stayed here before and would again. Small groceries and a 7/11 close.

Place is a fleabag motel. Good points: train goes right by many areas good for food and drink and all the way to the stadium. Right next to the beach, and GG Park. Good value.

The rooms are very spacious, and the bed is super comfy, bathrooms are not really renovated but they were clean, one thing I loved was the out door balcony and that the windows open all the way. A small con is that there isn’t really AC a big con was that there was really loud construction going on at about 8 am.

Overall, it was decent enough for one overnight stay. The room was large enough, which was nice, and it's right by the ocean with that lovely salty air smell. But the TV only had Roku, the refrigerator had no cord and thus was no good, and the shower drain was clogged.

Room had no a/c when temps were approaching 90s. Tried to leave the door open, but the bar below was very noisy and smoke came in. Train passes frequently and is quite loud. Outlets did not work in the room.

The location was very nice and very convenient to mass transit (the tramway passes directly in front of the hotel). The only serious drawback was that the bed was extremely worn with no rigidity remaining; not recommended for those with back problems. Other than this, I thought the hotel was good quality for its price.
