If other people were staying on the property, we didn't see them. We did not rent a 4wheel drive vehicle, which is highly recommended. The road leading to the villa was VERY steep. We were fine, but if it had rained during our stay we might have a different opinion on that choice!"

"Sweet Songs was the absolute best place ever. The staff were incredible, the rooms were fabulous, the pool is a dream. I don’t think we could have had a better experience. What a place!

"Absolutely perfect stay. We had the 2 bedroom villa which was gigantic. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and a back terrace that is perfect for breakfast sojourns before getting into the heat of San Ignacio. There is a pool here too, albeit small. The staff are particularly great, and everyone is super polite and helpful. You will need a car to get here, and it’d make sense to rent one anyway as you have to drive in Belize. There is a great walking/hiking trail in the property to get the juices flowing in the morning. All in all this was a super stay. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Mystic River! It's a beautiful resort! The staff are all so amazing! They are so kind and helpful! The food was delicious and the room was comfortable and so nice. My husband and I have nothing but raves for this resort! You will not be disappointed! The tour guides are super knowledgeable, friendly and gave us a great experience. "

"This was a fantastic surprise for us. We had never been to San Ignacio and booked the hotel hoping the reviews were accurate. We were not disappointed. The property is stunning and elegant. We stayed in a beautiful King room overlooking the jungle and enjoyed our morning coffee in the British tea cups that were elegantly provided. The art in the hotel holds vibrant depictions of the jungle animals, flora, and fauna. I felt as though in an art gallery. The food was excellent, the service, friendly and attentive. The pool has a lovely water fall that heightened the relaxation while I read my book in the sunshine. We tend to be picky travellers and my husband and I were delighted with our stay! "
