The owner and staff here was amazing! This was hidden beautifully quiet stay. They are very welcoming and accommodating. The view was beautiful and the atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. The bed was a bit on the harder side but would still go back and recommend.

Staff were oh so nice and helpful. This small hotel is on a private road and the decor is like being in a museum...very lovely. the steps were a bit challenging but there are 1st floor rooms.

Overall a good stay, staff was friendly. First night was on the first floor and had a bad experience, had cockroches and lizards in our room. I complained to office and they moved us to the 2nd floor. After that had no problems and a great clean room. Would recommended HOWEVER, NO AC! So if thats a problem don't stay here. Its a must to have a car. Very limited and expensive busses or shuttles. Hotel in not near San Jose or major hubs. But the views and pool are beautiful. Would rate 3.5 out of 5 stars overall.

I had an excellent stay at the Canal Grande Lodge. The staff were wonderful, really friendly and helpful and the hotel was spotless with large spacious rooms. It also had a lovely outdoor space with a pool and amazing views. A good option for those who are looking to stay close to San Jose airport but away from the busy streets of San Jose.

This is a place to come and relax. 12 rooms, clean and comfortable. Adult clientele, quiet but the owner, host and staff are most warm and welcoming. It's was a retreat in the mountains that I hope to visit again!

Empezaré por lo bueno: Preciosa locación a lo alto de una colina, lo que brinda una preciosa y amplia vista. Cama, almohadas, blancos bien. Cuarto amplio y limpio. Personal amable. Precio razonable. En contra: MUY caluroso el cuarto en horario vespertino, NO HAY A/C. NO HAY TV CABLE. Al utilizar la ducha el agua se riega por todo el baño, simplemente NO HAY NINGÚN ELEMENTO QUE LO IMPIDA. El lavamanos se inunda. El desayuno muy pequeño, claramente corto. Pocas opciones para comer en las cercanías.
