"The walking trails around the property were good. Lot of vegetation/greenery. The view from the dining area was excellent. Staff were courteous and friendly. Beds were not that comfortable could use updated beds in the room. Transportation to and from the resort is either expensive or not available to go see some places. Breakfast (included) was great."

"Everything was outstanding. The room was immaculate and I loved the paintings on the walls. Breakfast was delicious with a Costa Rican flair. I went swimming in the outdoor pool which was warm and so inviting. The outdoor dining room allowed me time to take in the view of the canyon as well as the birds. Everyone was very friendly and even the owners were very hospitable. I highly recommend the Vista Canyon Inn over any traditional hotel if you want a relaxed inviting place to stay. "

"Perfect for a stay close to SJO. Everything is close by including rental car locations, Starbucks, food trucks and other shopping. Rooms are spacious, well designed and in great condition. Underground parking was also very convenient. Highly recommended. "
