"Absolutely beautiful. The room was spotless, the view magnificent, the whole hotel was unique, and the breakfast was "to die for." I was only there one night, but my best night in Zih: not bothered by bugs at night!! I will go back for sure. And take other people there for breakfast. The owner is a chef from France and his employee Paola has worked there thirty years, for past owners as well. So glad I ended up there by accident because my brother-in-law goofed about the day he was...

"The Thompson is a modern Mexican hotel located on Playa Ropa. You can walk to restaurants and are an easy 5 min cab or 100 MXP to the center. We enjoyed our stay and ate at both of the restaurants on the property which were excellent. The massage was wonderful and if you need help with a tour they are accommodating. A lovely get away! "

Our suite was clean and spacious, with a gorgeous view of Playa La Ropa and the fireworks on New Year’s Eve! So close to the beach and so many any excellent restaurants. A short taxi ride into El Centro. We hope to visit again. The convenience store adjoining was great "
