We truly enjoyed the villa which was super spacious and comfortable. We got great sleep thanks for amazingly soft beds and black out blinds. The Rio Mar grounds and pool were great and we did a day trip to Fajardo and Yunque. Hope we can return soon!

The location was beautiful and we were happy to have the opportunity to stay so close to the rain forest. However the beach wasn’t easily accessible, some items in the home didn’t work, and we had to do some cleaning when we arrived.

We had a lovely vacation at this beautiful condo! There were no issues at all and the property contact was always accessible and willing to help. Excellent location and we used the home owners pool and beach access every day with no issues. Local restaurant Dom Pepe was delicious and Roots at the resort was the best on the property. We will be returning to Rio Mar next year!

My wife and I stayed 5 nights and loved our vacation. The place is spacious, incredibly comfortable, beautiful, and has everything you need. We enjoyed driving the golf cart each day to the private beach and pool, enjoying the scenic views on the way. There were plenty of fun restaurants within 10 minutes drive for us to try something new each day. We also took a trip into El Yunque rainforest which was nearby. Julia was a great, responsive host, we felt extremely relaxed, and felt like we found the best place to stay in Puerto Rico!

Overall property was nicely clean. Bathrooms need some updating- future projects. Host was very helpful anytime we needed assistance. I will recommend this place to a family with younger children-3 twin beds in the loft bedroom. It's great that it comes with a golf-cart because would be a 20 minute walk to the beach. You may also drive to the beach without leaving the resort area.

Loved the stay. The upper level room for the kids gave us excellent privacy. My husband was mostly at work so the private beach and golf cart and view of the rain firest didn't make us feel like we were missing out. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a trip to the beach so all you need is your swim wear!! That was an excellent touch! Would love to come back again!

The property is located in a very safe and beautiful community w/in the Wyndam Rio Mar development. Great views, floor plan and comfort. Beach is accessible by the golf cart or car ; beach is very nice w/ shade trees. The rainforest is 10 minutes away; the local town of Rio Grande has all shops and Mameyes is a wonderful village for food and drinks atmosphere. Most locals speak some English but be prepared with minimal Spanish. Had a great fishing trip w/ Alberto Jimenez out of Humacao ; grouper, King fish and Mahi. A great experience for my family ....will be back to see more of the island.

Would have been 5 stars easily, had a great time, the master bathroom shower handle was broken which really hurt the overall rating, some minor things like grill igniter wiring hanging, no directions on how to use tv’s, and inaccuracies about extra keys and location of AC, some general confusing instructions?

I would rate this in the top 3 of all VRBO properties that we have reserved! The host, Julia is wonderful and communicates quickly. The condo is EXACTLY as depicted in the picture profiles. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights. All was superb. :) If I was a "nit-pick" type of person, then I would mention the loose toilet seat in the guest bathroom. Also, we LOVED the shower in the guest bathroom, but in the primary bathroom, the shower head is the detachable style and I am not used to that set-up. HIGHLY recommend but not too much because we want to book again and more often, so we don't want too much competition. Ha ha! Thank you for the wonderful decor, the towels, and all the supplies we needed were provided. Even a hair dryer and hair straightener! THANK YOU - we will be back!

Julia was approachable. We stayed for 4 nights with little kids and toddler. I would say cleaning could definitely be improved. There were spilled coffee stains on coffee table and floor underneath it. Floor overall could have been better cleaned. We could not leave any food outside on tables due to Ants. The best part was golf cart that came along with our booking. Things around villa are not at walkable distance so we used golf cart to go to pool and dining restaurants. I loved the fact that we could use everything inside golf resort including restaurants, pools and private beach. Everything was extremely well maintained in the resort area and we had amazing time. Villa had utensils and all basic amenities including towels, toiletries, and extra bedding. We would def love to stay here again.

This property is exactly as described, clean, and just what our family needed to be able to enjoy more space than a traditional hotel room. The kitchen was well appointed and the golf cart was an absolute must. This property is a little farther back in the complex which made it peaceful, but walking to anything is really not an option. The unit could benefit from some written directions/maps inside the home. The only information we received was in our check in email that included details on parking and how to get the key. We really had to look around the house for things and there was no map of the property. If the owner could include a sheet or binder that stays in the house that shows a map of the property, internet codes, what to do if the golf cart runs out of gas, etc., it would have been really helpful. However, communicating with Julia was easy and she was very kind. We stayed during peak season and were not supposed to use the main resort pools. This was not an issue for our family as we had excursions planned and we found the owners club pool and beach access to be exactly what we needed, less crowded. However, I only point this out in case you have smaller children and have your heart set on using the resort pool. This truly was a great location on the island and a good space for a family of four to enjoy spring break.
