Spectacular Beach View Next to Fairmont El San Juan

Our apartment at ESJ Towers is located at a beachfront condo-hotel in Isla Verde Beach, a very popular touristic area of Puerto Rico. The beach is right on the back of the Condo Hotel. The swimming pool is still closed for repairs. We do not have the exact date of the reopening.
We have a prime location next to Fairmont El San Juan, walk to the casino, bars, restaurants, night live, music and close to car rentals, fast-food places, supermarket.
Of course the best beach in the north side of the Island Isla Verde Beach.

Also, this ocean view apartment has a comfortable kitchen, a spacious bathroom, balcony, air conditioning, 50" smart TV, high speed internet, gym, game room and more.

Amazing stay! Beautiful and prime location!
This stay is an amazing experience. We would definitely book again. Super accommodating and responsive host. Rosa is very friendly! Only steps away from the beach and restaurants/bars. There’s a supermarket on the corner to get groceries from as well. There’s a café in the lower level of the hotel that we got to enjoy, as well as super friendly and attentive staff in the building. Ubers were extremely affordable but cars are definitely not required for this stay. We had a wonderful time staying here. The room overlooks the beach. The room was complete with anything you would need, sunscreen, dishes, beach, chairs, etc. We have no complaints about our stay at all all!

We had a great stay! Beaches are lovely. Lots of Tiki access. Fairmont hotel next door has great food and staff! Easy access to everything with Taxis outside Fairmont. Nice grocery store behind Chilis just a few blocks. Good restaurants on Main Street. Slept great. We used the small kitchen too. AC worked well. Beautiful view. Kind, available host! Five stars! Amazing Views
The property is a little hard to get to, but that was mostly due to the heavy rain we experienced on our first day. After that the stay was smooth as could be. The resort leads right onto the beach and is quick accesses to Old San Juan.

Just what we needed
Overall good experience, easy in and out of the room. Wifi helped me turn in some last minute things for work. The tower overall is undergoing some repairs but nothing that interfered with our stay. Felt secured due to the security at the gate and love the easy access to the beach area. Would stay again with no problem.

Excellent property
Beautiful oceanfront apartment with a balcony and view of the beach and airport. Our host Chimmy was extremely responsive and accommodating. The pool in the ESJ tower is still closed with no specific plan to open, but we were just happy spending the day at the beach. If you stay here recommend you rent a car and drive 45 minutes to Guavate for amazing Puerto Rican food. El Yungue rainforest also close by.

Great location and value
This is a nice little place with a small cooking area, full fridge and sink. The hallways of the building could use some TLC but overall still good. The lobby is very clean and open. The pool was down during our stay so no review there. Location is very good. Most everything is in walking distance. Very secure and great beach access. It’s not the El San Juan but it is a great value for the price. I would stay again.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It's by the beach and all restaurants and stores are within walking distance. We asked the front desk about the pool and was not its not working. Although we did had a blast, people at the front desk were not friendly and rude. They are no longer available after 6 pm. They do have a laundry in the basement where the parking is but you need a plastic token which you need to purchase at the front desk, (again no one was available after 6 pm) laundry is open till 11 pm per the instructions.

Great ocean view from the 16th floor
The apartment needs to be renovated or the price has to be lowered. We paid more than our friends and they had beautiful rooms with great views. Rooms 1657 and 377 were fully updated and cheaper. We booked this room at a lower rate originally and several weeks later we were told there was a mistake and the price went up. At that point no other rooms were available in that hotel for new years eve, so we paid more.

Great Stay!
Had a great stay in this room. Everything is as advertised in the photos and the place was very clean. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and answered any questions I had quickly. The location was great and located right next to all of the major resorts and restaurants. It is a quick and cheap Uber ride to Condado and Old San Juan as well. A recommendation I would give to the owner is to leave some basic instructions for operating the air conditioner and TV. There were a lot of remote controls and it took us a while to figure out how to coordinate the TV/cable. Being this is a private residence and not a hotel, the electronics are not as dummy-proof as you'd find it a hotel. On the flip side, the unit did have a blueray player and some other electronics you wouldn't find in a hotel. Overall a great experience. I would stay again.

I booked this property because the beach is a 3 minute walk. The views of the ocean from the balcony is spectacular. The bed is comfortable. The condo needs few updates: water pressure in the toilet is low, shower head has layers of calcium deposits. Suggest that you install a shower organizer to store shower gels and shampoo instead of on the edge of the bath tub. The cleaning attentant needs to clean on top of the refrigerator. I highly recommend that the drain pipe of the AC be fasten to the wall so that the water goes into the drain hole and not the balcony floor. The peeling paint in the balcony's ceiling needs a paint job with an appropriate paint. The 2 biggest issues I faced was: (1) I was locked out of the condo for over 2 hours. The battery in the digital wifi operated door lock died. As a result, I could not get in. Secondly, the light went out. I was told light outage is common in Puerto Rico. Due to no power in the condo, there was no Wi-Fi. The front desk did not have a spare key. Attepted to call Property Manager, but she was on a flight. After she called back, I explained to her the situation, but she tried to make it seems like it was my fault. I had to wait until the cleaning lady come with the key. Since it was the only key, I had to make sure it was around my neck at all times. (2) Black ants came into the condo unto the bed and was bit all over my body. She said they were mosquito bites because those ants do not bite. PM offered late check out.
