This place shouldn’t be open. Nails and screws all over the ground by the door of our room. We didn’t even stay the night. The floors were really sticky in the room. We saw enough to know we didn’t want to stay, so we left and made other arrangements. This motel needs to be removed from the site.

I had a horrible experience. They gave me a room that smelled of paint. When k asked for a different room, they said room were all the same freshly painted. I said I’m allergic to paint smell. I asked for a refund and he refused, berated me for being a bad customer. Manager was rude, threatening to distribute my information to all the hotels. I left and went to a different hotel. Sea garden hotel gave me so much anxiety.

I left my car for talk with management, and my wallet was stolen, bathroom leaking and flooding the whole room, and the manager knew it. $500 dollars, drive license, debit cards and credit cards.

Liar manager, scumbag owner.
Horrible. This is my story. So I work outside with my job and I really like the idea that this hotel had a hot tub and it was a good price so I paid for the hotel and I when I got there that night I was really exhausted and there was no hot water but I just figured I would take a shower in the morning because it was probably due to other tenants using all the hot water up. in the morning I went to use the hot water and there was nothing there so I rushed to work anyway and I came back after work and told the manager that I needed to get a new room because this has been going on from the night before. You told me he would fix it in just to wait, but I waited all night and eventually fell asleep. I woke up the next morning and went right to him this time telling him I wanted a refund for part of my state because there was no hot water, and he immediately gaslighted me to tell me that I didn’t ask him for a room with hot water or tell him it was a problem. This is the same guy who came into the room and tested the water and confirmed he would get me a new room! So, of course, I got upset. I raise my voice a little, but I didn’t ball my fist or threaten him or jump over the counter, and he immediately got so offended that I raise my voice for calling him out for lying, and I told him he’s a liar, right to his face because he was., that he said he would immediately trespassed me and I had to leave the property. He apologized after I complained even louder, then blacklisted me.

This is not a hotel for travelers. It is a residential hotel with permanent residents in most rooms. The condition of the rooms was dismal. Moldy shower, holes in walls, broken bathroom door. The guy at the front desk was very obviously stoned and spent the evening smoking cigarettes in front of the rooms.

Dirty! Roaches! Paint peeling, mouse poop, mold, super thin walls, black smudges all over the walls and doors, it smelled like an ashtray and mildew, bad customer service (the front desk lady was kind, just seemed inexperienced and her boss was the one running the show he was off putting to say the least). I would not recommend to anyone, it’s conveniently close to everything towards the pier thats the only upside.

This is where you go to get nothing that was advertised. Tourist trap! I lived here for 20 years and visiting for a couple days. This is why locals hate these people coming in and ruining our rep.

Not going there again
When we checked in, lady at desk had nothing clue what she was doing until the man came out. He gave us the wrong room. Room smelled moldy & not the hot tub room we paid for. So we got our money back & went down the street to the Edgewater inn. Much nicer.
