Overall we had a nice and quiet stay. Staff was helpful and courteous. Room was clean, with a comfortable bed, and quiet surroundings. Got a good night sleep. Breakfast started promptly at 6am with a decent variety of items. Parking was convenient. We selected this hotel vs others primarily based on comments regarding security concerns at other locations. We didn't notice any security issues. A couple of things I would suggest: 1. a couple of water bottles in the refrigerator would be nice touch. 2. replace some of the carpeting. No mayor issues. I would stay again in the future if needed.

Nice, convenient option in North SD County
I was pleasantly surprised with my stay! I went in with minimal expectations, knowing it's a small hotel off the highway near a college. The room was spacious, the front desk was friendly and had free snacks available, the room had a not-so-mini fridge, and the breakfast was yummy! A good option for staying in San Marcos close to the freeway if you need to get to other places in North SD County quickly.
