Beachfront property in middle of town!!!

Beachfront property in central part of beautiful San Pedro. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. 8-9 blocks from local airport. Water dock literally yards away. We can certainly assist in booking excursions including snorkeling, fishing trips, diving trips. Or, just relax on the hammock at the hotel.

Each room has fans and, since hotel is beachfront, there is always a nice breeze. If AC is needed, it's available for a small fee. No need to pay ahead of time, clients usually decide once they get there. Each room also has minifridge and private washroom.

You are currently reviewing the first floor option. If you are interested in the second floor option, please see that on VRBO or notify me. The second floor has a small kitchenette.

Also of note: due to the high costs of maintaining the TV's and most clients do not use it, we have stopped all TV services. We do have excellent Wifi option, so please bring your smart device.

Shell shocked at the Conch Shell Inn
The room was not at all what was pictured on VRBO.The rate was for a totally different room. I was literally shocked when my room.I'm sorry if it is not the positive review VRBO is looking for but I have to be honest and VRBO should seriously consider what I have to say whether they post it or not.

Nice but basic and hard to find.
At first , so hard to live as the VRBO listing does not show name of the Inn, at all. Nobody knew that address at all. We eventually found it with help of a local. Tough. Otherwise owner was super nice and friendly. Great spot, fairly rustic accomodarion with AC being an extra charge.

Everything you need for a dive trip!
Vivian took great care of my husband and myself. The rooms are functional and well kept for a great price. Please note this isn’t a luxury resort, but clean and functional living space for a great price. Property manager is communicative and the woman who maintains the property is super friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable. Our room had a small fridge microwave and coffee maker. Would stay again, perfect space for a dive trip. All San Pedro fun is accessible too!

Perfect budget location
We stayed in #10 for a week and it was very nice. Vivianne was most helpful and accommodating! She provided us with an extra fan and a coffee pot. We didn't use the a/c once. We were the only ones who used the lounges for the first few days. Location is perfect.

Perfect central llcation
My son, husband and I stayed here for about a week and it was very pleasant. The inn is within walking distance from the water taxi and everything on the listing is accurate. Vivian the host was lovely and helpful and kept the inn and our room exceptionally clean. Definitely would recommend for short stays.

Can’t get much closer to the beach than this little place. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short by hurricane Beryl, so…we’ll try again some other time. Location makes for easy access to many local spots.

Great in town stop
Conch Shell Inn is a cute little place. Vivienne was so accommodating, allowing us to check in early and then offering to store our luggage for a few hours after check out. She was fun to chat with and absolutely relieved our stress.

This property is managed by Vacasa and it's a nuisanse. When you're traveling you'd appreciate having all the information in one source. Unfortunately, in this case VRBO site merely redirects you elsewhere which is often inconvenient. They stay itself was pleasant. The staff was responsive and accomodating. We found the $15 AC surcharge a bit strange and actually a bit spoiling the impression. I doubt it's a good business model (we didn't take it).

The Conch Shell Inn is located very nicely in the heart of San Pedro town. Easy walking distance to everything. The ocean is only 30 feet from the bottom of the stairs. Was able to go snorkeling right in front of the inn. Located 5 minute walk from the water taxi. Coffee shop around the corner. It is a emerging country and the Inn is no frills. The bed was very comfortable and our hosts were excellent. I would recommend the budget minded here anytime.

Pretty morning view right in downtown
Nice place. Simple amenities, but clean and comfortable. If you're looking for luxury I recommend elsewhere, but the location is very convenient right in downtown, especially if you have a short (2-3 night) stay and aren't mostly exploring on foot. If there is a decent amount of foot traffic it can get a little noisy right outside the motel room, which is all fairly audible due to the windows being screens only (for temperature comfort), but it didn't bother us too much. Overall a clean nice place for a great price in a super convenient location!

Nice for the price.
Close to everything in San Pedro. No fault of Conch Shell Inn, but kids fist fighting in front of next door restaurant one night. Hopefully not a regular occurrence. Lots of soliciting in the area. Have to pay extra for a/c. It's clean, but no TV, no windows, just outer shutters and screens. Nice patios and enclosed area, quiet enough after 11p. All excursions and ferry are steps away! Nice managers and hard workers keeping it up. Would stay again for the price!
