"Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."

"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"We arrived at the hotel and realized there’s no AC in the rooms (there is but not for cold only heater), we also booked the hotel in part because we saw it has a roof top restaurant with great views and then found out we were not allowed because of a private event, the manager was helpful but very dry and short on words. "After some initial difficulties the stay was very positive. In the beginning we were offered a horrendous room which was absolutely not acceptable. After complaining we were offered a free upgrade and the room was good. Nice location with direct access to the sea. Staff is friendly and the property well kept. Parking is free and close to the rooms in a closed parking area. There is a nice bar and restaurant in the hotel. "
