"This hotel is right on the sea so I would recommend taking a sea view room. They have big suits that are very spacious. We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. "Very large. It is very rare to find a villa with 3 bathrooms. Our host Antonio was fantastic. He drove us to the Port and made sure we were all set to go on our cruise. You will definitely need to have a car. The villa is tucked away. Very private. Definitely not in a tourist area. The host was very accommodating."

"This holiday home is great for a couple or small family. Ideally located near the old part of town and also a small beach it has a large, safe outdoor area and a spacious lounge/living area. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Though old it has character and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot by the sea. "

We were very disappointed to be unable to stay but as the large kitchen window could not be locked other arrangements had to be made. "We had a great vacation at Salvatores house in Pace del Mela. The garden and pool are really big and are perfect to relax and have a good time. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures, we were very happy to spend our time there. The Check-in was easy and Salvatore always helped us quickly when we had a question. "The room itself was okay, if very bare, and there was no information about anything. Although there was a fridge for our use (and some bottled water provided) there was no kettle and no access to the kitchen until breakfast time the next day, so we couldn't make tea. We were admitted to the building when we arrived, but not welcomed. Reception desk was unstaffed, nobody around to greet us or give us any information. The building looked quite neglected. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good."

Lovely quiet villa

"Francesca is a delightful hostess. We walked from the station up to her place, but she felt bad when she found out. Apparently it is her practice to pick up and drop off guests at the station, which is very sweet. Just message her on WhatsApp for that. The villa is lovely and clean, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon ands the city was strangely silent. Siesta time, perhaps? Enjoyed the ocean view from our private balcony. Breakfast was a selection of sweet breads. Francesca recommended Mauni pizza for dinner and it was good. "
