The staff were friendly the ponchos and restaurant superb in food but this was a modern hotel lacking something in character. It’s about 20 minutes from the beach which is either a boon or a demerit depending on your taste however its location close to the river meant that once we had opened the windows we were mosquito prey. Also some of the furniture was tired and required replacing particulate manual room safe which either ran out of battery power or the keys were malfunctioning and luckily looked me out before I could put anything in it

Very hot at night, after calling the front desk they did accommodate us with a fan. The town is ok, I really was not impressed with what "MY EXPERIENCE" was the ppl seem a bit annoyed by tourist, not friendly at all!

The description of the hotel was exactly as it was. The location was great, out of the city centre but so walkable which made it very quiet. The reception staff were always very helpful and friendly. It was great if you were coming on business and also if you were on holiday having a few days in Donostia, it seemed to tick all the right boxes.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, lovely breakfast. All the staff in the restaurant and bar, as well as the front desk very kind and thoughtful. Jose Luis and Alberto were both extremely kind, helpful and professional. Everybody was very patient with our group that included many teenage boy soccer players, parents and coaches. Few who speak Spanish. So thank you staff for your accommodation and patience!! All was fantastic.

This hotel exceeded expectations! great location, parking and easy access to public transportation. The room was comfortable, modern style and equipped with quality linens and bathroom supplies.... best bed and pillows of our 2 week trip in Spain. Nice cafeteria for quick affordable breakfast. Close to Bilbao.

Staff was helpful and accommodating (we are still learning Spanish). Love the artwork in the hotel. Very quiet despite being, literally, sounded by roads/traffic. Easy to pull up and drop off luggage. Parking deck was super simple and accessed by the hotel elevator. Easy walk to both old town and the stadium.
