Beautiful setting & landscaping, clean & attractive facilities (with a nice touch of elegance), quiet (despite the pool & hot tub), clean & spacious rooms (with cathedral ceilings), nice amenities (fridge, microwave oven, WiFi, & TV), and amazing & very helpful staff. From the moment we stepped into the Fogcather office to check in to the last minute of our stay, we loved every minute. Julii was so friendly and even joked with us as we checked in. June who was the manager was delightful and even upgraded our room to an ocean front. June also helped us get acquainted with local wines and even let us use wine glasses to enjoy our Hearst wine. This place is a nice delightful place, cozy and clean. Most of all those that work here created an atmosphere of warmth and welcome.

Absolutely RECOMMEND!! Fantastic location, right across the street from gorgeous Moonstone Beach and minutes from Cambria downtown. (Which is such a beautiful and lovely downtown with shops and restaurants that are so good). The property is so beautiful. The rooms are just so quaint yet elegant. No A/C, just a beautiful electric fireplace. The beds are SUPER comfy, the pillows too! Like; for real, so much I thought about asking to buy a pillow. The towels are soft too. And the shower head has a strong stream! Genuinely this place is just amazing! I want to come back today!!

This was our second time staying at FogCatcher. The location on Moonstone Beach is amazing, rooms are spacious, and the hotel has increased communication about services. Given the high prices, I'd love to see a few increased room amenities to help make the most of the location such as a tea kettle or higher quality coffee maker in the room. The beach is just across the street and it would be perfect to prepare a warm beverage before stargazing at night or heading out to the beach in the morning.

We stayed for 1 night on mothers day. Stay was comfortable and quiet. Loved the heated pool and hot tub. Beach is right outside your window. Walking distance to a restaurant or 2. Room was clean and shutters kept the light out so we get a little extra sleep before a morning walk on the beach trail. Definitely looking forward to another stay.

We stayed at the Fogcatcher for one night as we continued our drive down the coast. The room was as expected and the was service friendly and accommodating. Location was great, right on the Moonstone Beach so we could stretch our legs and take in the scenery. Highly recommend Moonstone Beach Bar & Grill for dinner if you are eating out, close by and great food.
