Even though he had just finished a night shift he volunteered to help us get into the public car park (we had arrived in a terrible storm and parked in the wrong one). Unfortunately, getting into that car park was far from easy, yet Javier took the time and was so kind; we would really have been stuck without him. Thank you so much Javier!"

"Seemed slightly less well cared for than last year. No toilet paper holder in the bathroom, so had to keep the paper on the floor next to the toilet. Toilet attachment to wall was loose, so the bowl wobbled a bit. Shelves in the bedroom were improperly installed and not level, so couldn’t fully use them. "Julian's property is a 3 level townhouse on the edge of a lovely old town Viana. Very convenient for touring around the various wineries of Rioja. Comfortable house with all usual facilities and a pleasant garden to sit out in. Although lacking a kettle on arrival, Julian delivered one very quickly which was appreciated. Tras haber recibido mail de confirmación, haberse cobrado la estancia, etc.. al ponernos en contacto con la propietaria 30 minutos antes de la hora de entrada nos indicó que el apartamento estaba ocupado y no lo había gestionado desde esta plataforma, por lo que nos quedamos sin alojamiento. "Our host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The village was small and quiet, but near enough to larger communities to access grocery needs and such. We needed a few days to stop and rest ... this was exactly what we neeeded. There was a nice living room inside and a really nice covered patio to relax outside. Great!"
