Location is excellent— it is a few minutes walk from several tourist attractions and there is a bus stop and metro station at a minute’s walk. Several restaurants too.
Room was big with large windows, everything was clean. The bathroom was a bit cramped and everything is a bit old, but again, clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was tight, but we went here for the ease of access to what Rome had to show us, not to spend time in the room. 15/20 min walk to all the big attractions, Colosseum, Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon. Great shopping and restaurants in the immediate vicinity as well. Only complaint, we had an early morning tour that met at the termini station, woke the front desk person on the couch to ask about arranging a taxi, was told that morning "you don't need a cab, it's only a 10/15 minute walk". Luckily we left early, because it was closer to a 30-40 minute walk, just made it as tour was setting to leave. I think it was pay-back for waking him.

"Would definitely return here. Before we went on our trip we saw reviews about loud construction noise, no pool etc. We had no issues at all. The pool is open but is undergoing chemical treatment.
