"First, I don't look for fancy in a hotel room. Instead, it's about convenience, location and the service, and this place has all three in spades. The best aspect about staying here was Ameil at the front desk (BTW, he has a college degree in hospitality). Nearly every morning I would get a cup of coffee (local from SB Roasting Company!) and an apple (not gross red delicious but honey crisp), and sometimes a pastry (also local from up north), and I would chat with Amil about all kinds of topics....

"Riviera Beach House is a boutique hotel right in the Funk Zone. The rooms are small, but beds are comfortable and they have made great use of the limited space. We paid for a king room with a patio and when we got to the hotel, all of the patio rooms were under unexpected construction. Management went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the options they presented and checked in frequently to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely be back!"

"We’re it not for the construction and remodeling going on next to our room I would rate it 5 stars! The location only a couple of blocks from the beach and within walking distance to The Funk Zone was excellent. I would definitely come back one construction is over with. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beachfront hotel. Our oceanview room had a terrific balcony with a full water view. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the room was huge! We were there on a Sunday night and Monday so the hotel was not very crowded. The staff was lovely. "I knew the room would be small (as we got the smallest room they had), but it was barely walkable. About 8 inches to scoot between the wall and the bed. Everything was good quality and the bed itself was comfortable, but overall not worth the price paid. Usually you can justify the price with amenities, but this location doesn’t have a hot tub, or breakfast, etc."
