Welcome to the newly remodeled Beach Bungalow at Seabright!

This spacious and updated 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, two-story pet-friendly home has been recently remodeled, and is located in the heart of Seabright neighborhood in Santa Cruz! A 3 minute walk down the road lands you at Seabright State Beach, or walk to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in 10 minutes! The Beach Bungalow is only 1 block from amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and so much more!

Enter into the sunny and open living room, appointed with modern furniture, a large, flat screen TV, and beautiful hardwood floors. The downstairs common area has an open floor plan, with the living room, dining area, and the updated kitchen, all connected. There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen-sized bed and sofa sleeper– sleeping a total of 4.  The downstairs bathroom has been remodeled and is nicely updated.  The upstairs was remodeled in 2024, and features two bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds, a lovely updated bathroom with walk in shower, for a total sleeping capacity of 8.

Enjoy the sunny front deck with big ocean view that overlooks the historic Seabright neighborhood and beach.

This location could not get any better! Just a 3 minute walk down the road lands you at Seabright State Beach, the valedictorian of Santa Cruz beaches. Walk to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in 10 minutes! The Beach Bungalow is only 1 block from amazing restaurants (Betty Burgers, La Posta, Linda’s Seabreeze Café, The Seabright Brewery), coffee shops (Java Junction and Verve),  and so much more!  Take a beautiful 10 minute walk along the beach to Aldo’s restaurant at the Santa Cruz Harbor – watch sail boats, seals, otters  and kayakers as you enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch! There is so much to do within walking distance from the Beach Bungalow!

Very well supplied and located property. All booking and arrival arrangements professionally conducted. Home was very clean throughout the inside. The only opportunity for improvement was the cleanliness of the outdoor deck upstairs. It is a nice and spacious outdoor living space but we needed to do some sweeping and scrubbing to make it comfortable. We will certainly return to this property next time we are in the area. Very nice neighborhood with immediate necessities within an easy walk or very short drive.

Great Seabright Bungalow
Great property two blocks from Seabright state beach. The roof deck has great views of the ocean, with a couch and deck table. The kitchen was very cookable, and the rooms were nice. This house had the best beds of any rental we have stayed at. A couple of things worth knowing (but absolutely tiny in the scheme of things): Some of these pictures are dated. The rear driveway & garage doors have been converted. The pictures imply off street parking. There isn't really feasible off street parking, but the driveway apron acts as a reserved street space. The same photos show a small gated area, for your pet to be outside but secure. The fence & gate that cap that yard area are no longer there. The house binder was missing the sheet labeled checkout checklist, although mentioned in it. So not sure what exactly was expected, but we did all of the standard items. The checkout time is 10 sharp. Be prepared for that. Greay place, where we'll certainly be staying again!

Great location and extremely clean!
We came to Seabright to support our son who was doing the Half Ironman. The proximity to the beach and the race was perfect. It is one the cleanest rentals I’ve ever stayed. Fits 4 people nicely.

The house was wonderful! Just a block from the beach! My only critique is that there is a 24 hour on call for any problems or concerns. I text the first night indicating I was having an issue with the TV. The management did get back to me until almost 11:00 am the next day. Otherwise the house was great!

Overpriced for what you get
We were really disappointed with our stay. We were not made aware that the house next door was under construction. Porta pottie was 10' from our front door. When we entered the smell of cleaning chemicals was so strong that we had to air out for several hours before we could stay inside. Despite the floors were filthy. The furniture was all pretty old and stained. It is obviously a well used older home which is fine but for what they are charging you'd expect alot more updates and nicer furnishings. Coffee maker was filthy and had to be cleaned. Listing said (2) offstreet parking stalls but there's really not even one unless you want to leave gate open so expect to park on the street. The outdoor decks were nice but again filthy. Need a good powerwashingl. Also beware of the neighborhood if you have younger children. Some sketchy characters wandering around but that's also just part of the Seabright area. Short walk to the beach and Boardwalk was a plus.

Amazing for families with pets
My husband, teens, pups and I stayed here for a week. Less than two blocks from the beach that allows dogs on leash was the perfect location. House has well stocked with kitchen tools, board games, beach gear as well as all the streaming services you can watch. Neighborhood was very quiet but yet close to restaurants and coffee houses. Walking my dogs at the beach every morning was the perfect start of our day. Thank you for a great family vacation!!

Beautiful home in a great location in Seabright
We've stayed in the Seabright neighborhood of Santa Cruz many times in the past, and this bungalow will definitely get added to the list for future visits. Location-wise, it's perfect. It's on a quieter street in Seabright but still only a block away from the main commercial strip with restaurants, a small grocery store, and plenty of coffee options. In the other direction, the beach is less than 2 blocks away. The bungalow itself has the funky layout common of the homes in the area but has had the main floor completely renovated to give it a modern, open feel. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom downstairs, but it's worth mentioning that it's in the converted garage (so no central heat) and is also only accessible via the bathroom on the main floor. It's also the only way to get to the outdoor space/BBQ. The primary bedroom and bathroom upstairs were huge for a beach home and, while not renovated, were very comfortable for our stay. We look forward to coming back to this bungalow in the future!
