The Private Cabana is a perfect getaway for couples, traveling buddies, solo adventurers, and for people in town for business. You will have the cottage completely to yourself with electronic access and check-in. Enjoy lovely views of trees and trails of the Pogonip hills from your room or the newly developed outdoor patio. The cottage is centrally located close to downtown and near the lively Seabright neighborhood, which is full of great restaurants and boutique shops. Perfect space for a Santa Cruz visit
This was a very cozy room with a lovely view and amazing outdoor patio (that we didn’t get to enjoy as our stay was too short ;( I hope to stay again next time I’m in SC! It’s exactly as pictured and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You won’t be disappointed : ) Also, it’s a nice quiet location not too far from UCSC, downtown and the beach. (Short drive to each)

We loved our overnight stay at this property in Capitola the terraced area was fantastic where we watched the most amazing sunset. We also got to see our first hummingbird whilst sitting on the terrace which was just magical. We visited Shadowbrook for dinner and UCSC Arboretum and Botannical gardens which were superb!

Really cute and quaint room
Super quiet, cute, quaint room if you prefer over a hotel. Easy entry, exactly as pictured. Perfect for my sister and I for wedding weekend. Central location, easy to walk to everything, nice neighborhood. Bed was SO comfortable!! Bedding and towels were amazing ! Only negatives, shower pressure is a bit too much and no decaf k cups which really aren’t major complaints, given the rest of the stay was perfect.

Overnight stay at the Cabana
The cabana was clean and even had a little patio out back to just unwind and relax after a long drive. There was a kitty that welcomed us on the patio which was a treat, we enjoy our cats and dogs so it was a nice treat. Super quiet neighborhood, got a great nights sleep and would recommend for anyone.

It was a very nice room. Hudson was a very sweet dog. The view was decent, better than most hotels. When I was planning my stay, the forecast was normal for Santa Cruz, even the day before I went, the forecast was 67. However the actual high was over 80, which with the western facing windows meant this room was very warm. It would be nice to have an AC unit available for these warm days, but I knew there was no AC before booking.

This space was perfect for my stay. I visited to do a few day hikes in the Redwood forests and the proximity of this location was nice. Check-in was easy and the place was perfect for my needs. I was a short drive from downtown and some quality restaurants. I would recommend staying here and would love to stay here again in the future.

Comfortable for a weekend getaway
The rental was comfortable with a nice view from the patio. It has a nice, big bed and basic amenities (body wash, soap, coffee, fridge, microwave, hair dryer). The hosts were great at communicating, and the check in and parking were convenient. It was great for our purposes of having a home base while we spent most of our time out enjoying the city. Not very big, but we considered it a good value and would stay here again.

Door lock was not programmed before my arrival, was left outside in the rain for 20 minutes calling the owner until I gave up and knocked on the front door. All the windows were left open in the room and so it was freezing when we got there.
