Wonderful Stay at Casa De Ochoa
Lovely, comfortable, immaculate home that had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Kitchen had plentiful cooking utensils, pots, pans, and bakeware. Plenty of choices for serving dishes, and complete sets of dinnerware and silverware. Large variety of spices, cooking oil, and condiments. Loved the laundry room with washer, dryer, utility sink, and laundry detergent. Comfortable beds. Loved the walk-in shower and large bath tub. We enjoyed the front and back patios, which both had seating and were comfortable and private. We chose to stay here to have more room and have a relaxing, peaceful setting away from the busy, downtown area of Santa Fe. We were so thankful we did! We were able to easily drive to downtown, historic Santa Fe (it was about a 25 minute drive). This beautiful home was also a convenient home base for our travels to Bandelier National Monument and Pecos Historic National Park (both a must see!). Albuquerque is about an hour away as well. If you need anything, there is a supermarket, gas station, small shopping area, and some restaurants within a short driving distance from the home. We appreciated the prompt communication with the host, Dean, whenever we had need to contact them. Thank you Dean and Gloria for sharing your wonderful home with us!

We were five adults. The home was perfect for our needs (a quiet place to return to after visiting friends at Tesuque Pueblo, Ohkay Owingeh, Taos, and Santa Fe). We cooked a lot and were happy for a well-stocked supply of pots, pans, and spices.

The Hosts Dean & Gloria were very easy to work with and messages/questions were answered very quickly. The house was very nicely decorated and more than enough room for 3 couples to enjoy. Was about a 15-20 min drive to Santa Fe tourist areas. Would highly recommend.

Great first stay in Santa Fe!
We have stayed in many VRBO homes across the country. We’ve had some really good ones. This by far has been the best stay. The home was spotless, in a great location and well stocked with items for our convenience. The area of Eldorado could not have been better. Very quiet and easy to get around. Close to downtown but just far enough away! Could see all the stars and the Pink Moon! Views are amazing. We’re hooked and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Adobe had everything we needed. Perfect for 2 couples, or a family. Great location outside of Santa Fe. Quiet, peaceful place to return to after a full day of activities. Gloria and Dean were great hosts, provided good ideas for our visit and were very responsive. We would choose this VRBO again!

Very nice stay; first time in Santa Fe area
This was a get-out-of-town trip 9 hours from home. Host's emails have correct information, but the online info needs a updating. No problems at all for us. We laughed when we repeatedly said "Well, it's only 13 miles away." Today's teenagers don't seem to be interested in much, but they were lightly intrigued with Mars and Jupiter being so bright. We could see the cloudy wispiness of the tail of our Milky Way.

Great stay!
The home is located in the El Dorado area of Santa Fe, which is about a 15 to 20 min drive into Santa Fe. It is a beautiful home, very clean, and had all the ammenities needed for a wonderful stay. There are three patio doors to step outside from, and all had great seating areas. A spatious kitchen and dining area, and the living room was very cozy! The tv was slightly difficult to use, but once we figured it out, it was okay. We weren't there to watch tv anyways! The beds were comfortable. Great views when the weather cooperated! We enjoyed our stay a lot and hope to return soon! Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Great property!
This property was beautiful! Just outside of Santa Fe and so peaceful. Walking trail right by the house, great patio to sit and eat. You can walk just a few steps and see a beautiful sunset or sit out on the patio and watch the sunrise. The owners were awesome. Very communicative, and checked to see when we were getting into Santa Fe and we were able to get into the house earlier. They gave some suggestions of where to go eat and some sites to take in. Everything worked, rooms were comfortable, lots of space. Check out was super easy. We really enjoyed the whole trip. If I had any suggestions it would be maybe to start a notebook or leave some blank pages out for guest if they want to write about their stay and what they did so other guest can read and get ideas.

Gloria and Dean were quick responsive hosts and their beautiful home provides everything you might need for your stay. We loved having coffee on the many patio options in the morning! Lovely house outside Santa Fe
We had a great time at Gloria and Dean’s property. We didn’t want to stay in a cramped hotel in downtown Santa Fe, wanted plenty indoor and outdoor space. The multiple patios were nice to have coffee in the morning and watch the sunset in the evening. The house was spacious and had all the normal conveniences needed for a long weekend stay. Would definitely stay there again.

3 Generations for Spring Break
3 Generations enjoyed our stay for Spring Break even though we couldn't ski, because there were no skis any where in Santa Fe to be rented by the time we tried. The home was very comfortable and with a large living room, a bright dining area with lovely views. The outdoor patios were comfortable, private, and relaxing. It was a great location for hiking and for star gazing. I hope it is available the next time I come to Santa Fe with a group.
