"We stayed at villa carlino in the “Esclusivo ” apartment for 3 nights . The grounds were beautiful, the bedrooms / bathrooms were comfortable and all was clean . Unfortunately it rained for 2 days while we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the pool . It would have been nice to have an indoor hang out area ( living room ) where all six of us could fit . The location is great for getting to Etna and Taormina ."

Even though the entrance may look unappealing, just a very tall dark door, which leads to an internal patio and another door you must enter with a code, once inside, it's like you steppe into a Time Machine. Very high ceilings with an 1800 construction and modern decor. It was a great surprise. And don't let me get started with the beautiful, unique smell of the shower gel, which will leave you wanting to import it to your country!!"

"After some initial difficulties the stay was very positive. In the beginning we were offered a horrendous room which was absolutely not acceptable. After complaining we were offered a free upgrade and the room was good. Nice location with direct access to the sea. Staff is friendly and the property well kept. Parking is free and close to the rooms in a closed parking area. There is a nice bar and restaurant in the hotel. "
