"We had a wonderful stay. Very friendly and uncomplicated hostess and warm and welcoming check-in procedure with her son. I think the description on the website that one has a mountain-view from the house falls short of the impressive and beautiful reality: from the balcony one does see the sea and we experienced incredibly colorful sunsets from that balcony as well as awe inspiring night skies over the sea and yes, the mountains."

"6 ladies on a 5 days trip. Really a nice house. Good communication with owner. Only thing was that one of the beds was a bunk bed :(
We read a lot of comments before. And all comments around the house is empty for kitchen stuff. Wasn't true anymore.

"Die Beschreibung des Hauses stimmt praktisch nicht mit dem Objekt selber überein. Es bräuchte Liebe und Pflege, ausserdem sollten die Bäder und die Küche renoviert werden. Auch könnte der Garten gepflegt werden, so dass man ihn nutzen könnte. Wer gerne extrem schwitzt und nicht vor Mücken geschützt ist: willkommen!"

"We stayed one night at Monte Cristo's before going onto the ferry to the mainland. It's very nice hotel, clean, modern room with a save parking space for the car. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. We just like it!"

"Such a great experience! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the amenities are perfect. There is a beautiful rooftop pool deck which was perfect as the weather was quite hot for June. I travel frequently and this is the best hotel experience I have enjoyed in years! Highly recommend. "

"The room was not huge, but clean with a comfortable bed. Reception was polite and very easy..
The hotel looks kind of isolated when you arrive, but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within 200 to 600 meters in pretty much any direction.
The hotel is very nice and Bastia was a really fun place."

"It was a pleasant change to stay in a smaller hotel that had a family feel about it, as opposed to a large soul- less corporate hotel.
The staff were friendly, pleasant and courteous.
My room was very nicely decorated and filled out, and the en-suiute was spotlessly clean and looked as it it had been recently installed. I also had the benefit of a terrace that I could sit out in.
The hotel was very convenient for walking in to Macinaggio that has numerous bars and restaurants to be enjoyed and there is a really safe swimming beach just north of marina.
The area is a complete treat and comes highly recommended .
