"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear...

In addition, we would wake up with the place completely wet and damp from the moisture. "Property was perfect for our needs. Not fancy, but very clean and enough room for my wife and I with our adult son. Although it could accomodate up to 5 guests, I would not recommend it. Quiet, little town with a couple of good restaurants and cafes. Short and easy 15 min drive to Vila Nova de Milfontes or Porto Covo with amazing beaches. "Awesome with large rooms with kitchenettes, and powerful hot showers. Very clean. Desk staff not so friendly & we had to wait on our riom but other staff great. There is a pool but it was raining when we were there, so we did not use. Fantastic breakfast with breads, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, corn flakes, meats, cheese, yogurt, & coffee or tea. You certainly did not leave hungry. Great location next to a hige supermarket and a short walk to many restaurants. "

"Staff were incredible. Beyond anything have experienced before. Fabulous rooms. Buffet quality and choice great, drinks included, very economical. Local buses not great or regular, don'r rely on them. Staff helped with transport. Amazing spa, with water treatments. Well worth a visit. "

Peace & tranquility in rural Alentejo

"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear them. There is a private lake, with seating making it perfect for an evening drink or picnic! The private viewpoint overlooking the whole property is amazing. We also enjoyed feeding the chickens and geese. There is a local bar (Cafe Primo Sergio) a 30 min walk from the house which serves good, home cooked food. The owner speaks very good English and both he and his wife are really friendly. The closest town is Cercal which is about a 10 minute drive away. It has everything you need, including an excellent bakery. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay."
