Our stay at Alta Vista Suites was our best vacation ever. The location was ideal, the suite was amazing, the included breakfast was fresh made daily and delicious. Manolis and Flora were so welcoming and helpful. I would rate their accommodations a 10 stars out of 5, it was that good. This is a must book location. It was the perfect location to get to Fira and see everything. The view from this place has to be one of the best on the island. We will be back!!!

An amazing property with the best staff. Firostefani during the winter is quiet and most of the cafés and restaurants around are closed, so getting a coffee or food can be difficult during the winter. However, this hotel is a gem which is about 15 mins walk from the main town square of Fira. The breakfast in the hotel was incredible and everything was freshly made in the mornings. The staff were very polite and would address all your concerns with utmost care and importance. We will be coming back to stay here.

This was such an amazing property. Stunning views, right from my room. Perfect view of the caldera and the sun sets over the neighbouring island from this location. So close to Fira and all the shopping/restaurants but still quiet. Breakfast was an added bonus and was absolutely delicious. I could not have picked a better place for my first night in Santorini. Thank you!

Alta Vista was great! My husband and I enjoyed the view and how accommodating everyone was. We stayed in the Bebe suite which was right outside the pool. The room was small but perfect for us. If you cannot walk stairs, this is not the hotel for you. There are many steep stairs. Great location if you are looking for quiet but close to the main downtown Fire area.

The guy that checked me in was so helpful and made my trip easy and fun. He first started by giving me areas of places I could go eat and places I should see. He went above and beyond making phone calls for me, he was extremely helpful and nice. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly would definitely recommend anyone to come here. I am 21 years old I traveled by myself and he helped me get a ATV to ride around the town. The Suite is very quiet and nice. I will be coming back next year as I loved this trip. He also saved my life by providing me with a Plug for my charger as I could not find one on the island Lol!

The property is in the hillside very hard for my friend to go Dow and go up. The Andre had to Carrie all the suitcase. If you gave to go there no suitcases Ned it very stressful- take a part of learning no much light in the dark for the stair’s. It was good learning.

What a wonderful 3 days my husband and I have spent at Alta Vista! The view is absolutely amazing. The staff was very kind and always ready for us. Breakfast at the balcony (Suite Heart) overlooking the Caldera is always going to be among our sweetest memories. The pool is very nice, despite the cold temperatures of the water. It’s location is close to the trail from Fira to Ía, so it’s a short walk to many restaurants and shopping. I have nothing else to say but thank-you! Thanks to the manager, the nice guy who brought our breakfast everyday (and help us with our luggage) and the very nice and kind woman who prepared our breakfast, cleaning our room, always with a big smile offering what she could help us with. I feel the property needs some TLC in general this is our 2nd visit , 1st was 2019 Heart suite not as chic and 5* as it was in 2019, at best a 3* First time in 2019 was perfect greeted with prosseco and the heart suite was immaculate. Champagne breakfast each morning. This time we were not greeted with anything , taken to the wrong suite and told this was what we had booked , I spent 20 minutes and showed the email confirmation that the passion suite we were being made to accept was the same as the heart . I explained it was not as we had stayed in the heart before and paid this time for the heart ! Eventually we were given keys to the heart suit we had booked ! The beautiful window in the bathroom was being held up with chains , look un property and I can see from past pictures i have the window is the wrong way round now. Sunbeds were old and would just collapse and we were read the riot act about only using the pool and NOT sitting down in that area as we had our area and that the oool sinners belong to the two other suites . I note no other person observed these rules during our stay and nothing was said ! Best thing is the two cleaners /breakfast team for sure. Also security in the evening is poor as the no door gates are ever shut ( all the other hotels around have their gates shut all the time! Think maybe a change in management but this once chic 5* in every way is now quite poor
