I have NEVER stayed at a property that offered as many amenities with customer service way beyond I could ever imagine! Dimitri and ALL his staff could not have done more to make us feel special and welcomed. The delicious daily breakfast with unlimited options, all made fresh daily on property, the way they set our room up and cleaned it for us paying attention to the tiniest details, the cleanliness, the inviting atmosphere, I could go on and on and still leave something out! This will definitely be my hotel in Santorini from years to come. Thanks again Dimitri, Yassou!

Dimitris and Eleni are so very welcoming and run a lovely place. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Lovely swimming pool and private jacuzzi. The breakfast is outstanding - freshly cooked for you when you are ready. It's so filling that we didn't need lunch on any of the days we were there. The cleanliness here is outstanding. I can't remember staying at a hotel that is kept to such a high level of cleanliness. Note that the beach nearby isn't the best swimming or sunbathing beach (pebbles rather than sand), so bear that in mind if you want a sandy beach. Relaxing at the hotel is by the pool is the best option. There are plentiful bars and restaurants near to the hotel, as well as food to order at the hotel itself. A very relaxing place to stay.

Superb family run hotel with excellent pool area, breakfast and rooms. Set back 5 minutes from the beach and beachfront restaurants but very private and extremely comfortable. The host Dimitris will arrange transfers to and from the airport in addition to tours around the island and catamaran sunset trips. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

Staff are friendly and very helpful. Hotel is located walking distance from the beach and they have a great taxi service that can take you where you need. Myself and my mum thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very welcoming and friendly family orientated staff. Served amazing and different breakfasts, good drinks at the bar and even the massages were amazing! Hot tub was a bonus as well! The local shop was so close as well and the beach was just a 3-4min walk away

Stayed at the Amara Suites for three nights from 18 October. The hotel is beautiful and immaculately presented. My wife and I had a wonderful stay, the owners were fantastic, very friendly and always helpful. The breakfast at Amara Suites could be the best I have ever had. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 10nts at the Amara Suites during September and couldn't fault this lovely accommodation. Bright, modern and spotlessly clean. The owner and his family gave us the warmest of welcomes and looked after us throughout, helping with day trip ideas and info along with the best breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend. And Santorini is just so beautiful.

This was our first time staying in a small family run hotel and we were very impressed. You aren’t a room number, Dimitrius and his family are very hard working, attentive and have great humour. Dimitrius can advise and make arrangements for vehicle hire, trips, taxi transfers, etc. the rooms, food, bar, pool area and private hot tubs are all brilliant. We had a great time and will return as soon as we can.

What a gem of a place. The hosts could not be more helpful and charming. The rooms are spacious and newly decorated with private hot tubs and large walk in showers, fast WiFi and Netflix. The breakfast Is AMAZING - you won’t need lunch - personal service and so much attention to detail. Poolside has high end loungers and is immaculate - lovely atmosphere and so relaxing. Be aware early April is early season so many things are closed and the weather can be wet and cold or hot and sunny! Amazing time to come if you like the peace for some great hiking with no crowds. Thank you Dimitry and family for a wonderful stay - will be back!

I have never met a more friendly owner anywhere. This place is gorgeous, both the room and the pool/lounge. There is always someone around to help, the pool bar has great hours, and all the staff were incredibly friendly. Our private jacuzzi and lounge chairs outside our room had a nice privacy hedge in place blocking anyone from the road looking in on you. The room was incredibly large, clean and amenities provided in the bathroom. We felt super comfortable relaxing and being ourselves in this atmosphere. You are also literally 2 blocks from the ocean, as well as a myriad of stores and restaurants. The owner is super flexible and easy to work with. It was truly a great time, and I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful property with unique 'cave' style rooms. The whole hotel is really pretty and pristine. We received the warmest welcome from Dimitris (the owner) when we arrived, followed by his daughter (on reception), son (in the restaurant and bar) and wife (chef). They all really welcomed us into their family and made us feel special. The breakfast spread was incredible and we looked forward to it everyday. The pool area was lovely with ample sunbeds throughout the day. The hotel was ideally located < 5 min walk to the beach and local restaurants. We had a lovely stay at the Amara Suites and would definitely recommend it to others. Big thank you to Dimitris and family for making our stay and helping with excursions, car hire and transfers.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Amara Suites. From the minute we arrived the staff were so accommodating and helpful to make sure we had a relaxing and unforgettable experience. The staff is family and are always around near the lobby to connect you with transfers around the island, serve delicious dinner (the pita bread is the best we've ever had), the pool is relaxing, each room has a private jacuzzi on the balcony, and the area is in my opinion one of the best on the island. It is far away from the business of Oia and Fira, which are great areas to visit but the quietness of Kamara is much better in my opinion. Oh, and the beachfront area with restaurants as well as the Open Air Cinema are all nearby in walking distance. If anyone I knew was going to Santorini, I would not hesitate to have them stay here. Please give it a chance!

Outstanding hospitality in a stylish setting

From the moment we walked in , we were treated like family by Dimitris , the owner and his family. What can i say ! The place is fantastic. The rooms are modern and comfortable and have everything you need including a huge fridge . Ours had a private hot tub 👍. The pool is just the right temperature and has plenty of comfortable beds . There is an open bar by the pool which serves all day into the evening. Great cocktails and food . The food here is as good as any of the restaurants we ate in and all cooked fresh by the family . Breakfast is just outstanding . Best we have had in a hotel for sure . We looked at a lot of hotels in this area and was really looking for something closer to the beach . So glad we chose this !!! its just 200 m from the beach front and 50m from a decent supermarket. Sofo and Vasil are great guys and provide an excellent car service from the hotel and are a competitively priced for trips to Oia ( definitely get a car , buses home late are a nightmare ) , Thira and Airport runs . If you want a hotel that has a touch of class and style with excellent food and facilities choose this !!!! Dimitris built , owns and runs this little gem with his family . You become family the moment you walk through the door . Thank you
