staff was amazing, he helped us with everything we asked for, we had two rooms The main room was very good it was larger with a big window which helped with humidity and air quality, 2nd not so much window was small we also didn't have a TV in the room either but overall staff hospitality and the uniqueness of the place made up for it all. And the shower is amazing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at Aura caves. It was perfect for our party of five. Easy walking distance to the best bars and restaurants and our host gave us many great recommendations.

Aura Caves was in a nice location. I choose this hotel because I needed a place without a bunch of steps. I was incredibly disappointed when we got there and was told the pool didn't work. This was one of the main things we wanted to experience while we were there. In return the host gave us transportation around the island which worked out most of the time we were there. Ubers/Taxi's are expensive on the island so it probably was worth more than than having the pool work, but I would have still liked the pool to be available or have been told prior to us arriving and had the option to get our money back and go somewhere else. We were told that a kid broke a light out of it the previous week and they didn't know when it would be fixed. When I went to look at it, it looked to me that there were other issues but nothing was going to fix it anyway so there was no need to complain about it.

We had the most amazing time while we stayed here! The beds were comfortable and clean, everything you could have needed was in this incredible home. Absolutely gorgeous views from the top pool. Enrik could not have been a better host, he was friendly, kind, and the most helpful getting us around and giving the best recommendations! We could have stayed forever, such a great experience all around. If you have the opportunity to stay absolutely here do it!! Shout out to Bonnie the best little hotel kitty

This is a unique and beautiful accommodation. As a cave room, it is spacious and nice. We had enough space to spread out, and the kids enjoyed the soaking tub up the rooftop. The owner is nice and accommodating. It's walkable around Fira.

It was absolutely the best! The Host is outstanding and willing to help in any way! The location was the best, walkable to everything in Fira and already half way between either end of the island. The two bedroom cave was great for the family and we all loved our private outdoor pool. Walking into town was a 2 minute walk to restaurants and 5 minute walk to all the shops. Host was great at arranging car pickups and reservations.

Really unique experience sleeping in the cave! I was disappointed the hot tub was not working yet in March. The caretaker is lovely and very attentive. Would recommend if you have access to transportation.

We loved our stay at Aura Caves. The apartment was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for our family of three. Our 16 year old daughter loved having her own separate space with her own private bathroom. We enjoyed our private plunge pool every day that we stayed at Aura Caves. It was so relaxing with a beautiful view. The apartment was conveniently located near several restaurants and shops. Enrik was so very helpful in every way. He was available and quickly responded to any and all of our questions and requests. I would very highly recommmend Aura Caves for your Santorini stay.

We had a group of 5 ladies staying here. First - the villa is unique and beautiful. I’ve never stayed in a property such as this. Historic and lovely. Problems arose with hot water, A/C, and WiFi, but you’re staying in a cave. This was understanble and our host was there to assist. Shower water pressure was great. I would recommend this villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to downtown Fira.

Overall it was good. May be little difficult to find. Walkable distance to the downtown and close to restaurants and a grocery store. You have to drive or have a taxi to reach beaches and Oia. I believe it’s family owned business and they were very nice and responsive.

It was a great experience. Room, pool, deck were clean and in excellent condition. Read some other comments about pool not being clean but for us it was cleaned a few times during our stay, and quite honestly didn’t really need it. The hotel was a short walk to all the shops and restaraunts and the view of the caldera. There was a new restaraunt called Tholotos that was just up the hill from Aura, great food/view/value, had breakfast there 3 times. It was very cool and interesting to be in a cave and you could really feel that it was a unique and different type of lodging and an experience to be there. Some of the ceiling were a bit low, but that’s to be expected in a cave.
