"We spent 4 nights at the Glorious Hotel and Spa while visiting family members in a village about 90 minutes away. The tasty breakfast got us off to a good start each morning and it was a pleasure to return to our room each evening and take a dip in the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "We truly enjoyed our stay of two nights at the Dracaena Resort. The house was spacious, clean and functional. The food was excellent. The attentive and personal service of the owners was very pleasant. We appreciated the advice and assistance with transport, guides etc. The insights in efforts for saving biodiversity gave a special dimension to the stay. "awful, the hotel is part of a now deserted resort. No English speaking staff (which was advertised), none of the facilities work, there's nothing to do and the restaurant shuts at 6pm, everything is broken and run down. We were the only people there in the entire resort. Give it a miss unless you like to stay in a Ghost town ruin."

"I felt like I was on a glamorous, 1940s-era Hollywood film set of a Khmer village. Some pieces were dated, but that added to the old-world charm. The island is idyllic (borrow one of the hotel bikes!), but the ferry is finicky. A Canadian couple told me they never waited more than 15 minutes, but I spent considerably more time waiting on it.
