"This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."

"Eduardo was an amazing host. He kept in contact leading up to our trip and offered directions and suggestions to help us with our travels. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. Our kids were in the pool every day and enjoyed the size of the house and rooms. One of few houses in the area with a pool it was an ideal base for our trips into braga and not too far from the beach in the opposite direction"

"The property was well located with easy and good access to Aramante the Douro valley and Porto. The garden and house are secluded and the surrounding area of vineyards was very quiet and peaceful. The house was really well equipped and very nice with lots of hot water and towels for the pool. We enjoyed walking around the area and into Aramante along the new footpath next to the river. "Fantastic place to stay. The hotel grounds were absolutely amazing with the best views. You can see and fell the history. The hotel is open to explore and has multilingual signs to explain the history. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Parking lot outside was huge so very easy to park and secure. The hotel restaurant was delicious with good options. Breakfast was also perfect. Transportation is a bit scarce, however the bus outside the property was easy, also can walk to the village if you prefer a stroll, about 2km downhill. The return walk was challenging uphill. Would highly recommend. Will stay here again. "

"The staff and service is excellent. The individual rooms are a distance away from the lobby/restaurant, which I didn’t like so much. That, however, is secondary to the excellent staff and the large comfortable rooms. The wine tasting was extremely well done."
