"The location and size of this place is outstanding. The unit was huge and the bathroom was the biggest we have seen in Portugal. Everything was walkable and the area was quite safe and easy to navigate. That said, communication with the host was lacking. Once we figured things out we were good to go though. Side note, you are right on top of the tram, so you can hear it running all day / evening. It really didn’t bother us and we actually thought it was funny. I’m not sure we would stay here...

"Really nice, clean and spacious place, with a kitchen, couch, tv, etc. Not too far from restaurants Only thing is that there is no real reception, and the employees are not available outside working hours (so check your arrival before booking)."

"Had a lovely stay. First time to lisbon and wasnt fully aware of the hills. Was close to a good bit of action but walking from central plaza back to room is a bear. Luckily it is on a bus line and uber is dirt cheap. If using bus or tram be sure to study the routes since the system can be confusing. Back to apartment, each morning fresh baked rolls are left on door handle. Housekeeping meticulous about cleaning and restocking room."

"Henrique was wonderful! We received a warm and helpful welcome. We were greeted with such hospitality and when it was noted that it was my birthday, even extra gifts and special surprises appeared! The property was charming and a great location to explore Lisbon from. This area of the city is the flattest , making it a good choice for anyone with walking challenges. "When we booked, the confirmation said we would be emailed the access code 24 hours before. This didn't happen. The property had a code key, an intercom doorbell and a sign. The say said to enter the code or if you don't have your code ring the local number. We rang the local number and was told to press the doorbell to be let in. quick to resolve but worrying when looking for an email that was never sent. Appartment was excellent, use again."

Such a Gem!!

"Staff was wonderful and very helpful. We were able to check in quite early since our flight arrived at 9am Lisbon time and technically check in wasn't until 3pm. The room was spacious and clean. We loved the clay pots that were available for use during our stay. Each floor had a coffee/tea area which was convenient. The hotel was in the perfect spot. We were able to walk to quite a few locations. Also, there was Lime/Bolt scooters readily available just out the main doors. Our dinner was amazing at Mojjo. It helped us to translate the menu into Portuguese, however, if you are ordering make sure you show the item in Portuguese as it does not translate the best and our waiter was a little confused. The desserts were the best that we had throughout our whole trip. The hotel was perfect. The only thing that would have made it better would be to have TV in the room so we could watch Premiere League/La Liga during our stay. But all in all, would definitely recommend or stay there again!"

"The only suggestion I have is that for women doing their makeup, the lighting could be better and maybe even put in a dimmer switch. I have one in my bath at home and I really like it. Early in the morning and late at night, I don't want bright lights. This can also help your sleep by dimming the evening light."

"This is an excellent hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very nicely located between the Baixa and Alfama neighborhoods and is very close to some excellent restaurants. We had a great time here."

"Highly recommend! Great hotel with professional, courteous and attentive staff 24 hrs. Room was spacious, complimentary mini bar in room, daily cleaning. Great breakfast, with many options to choose from. We received a small bottle of port wine and mini pastries the first night of our stay. This hotel is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, plazas and other tourist attractions. Convenient to taxi and tour pickup and drop off also. The hotel staff made arrangements for a taxi to the airport the morning of our departure. "
