"Good choice for Camino stop"

"The property is clean and in the middle of everything. Free parking on street. Restaurants everywhere. The two bad issues - hair dryer did not work and there is no thermostat to turn heater on as it became cold in the middle of the night. I had to get up and wear my jacket in bed. However, the property is good for the price I paid. I only stayed one night to start my Camino. A good place to start!"

"Price was reasonable and location was perfect for Camino starters. It’s on the main trail of the Camino’s section in the Historic Center with plenty of restaurants & shops around. The main downtown of Sarria was at a walkable distance. The unit was a clean room & bathroom with no frills, linen & towels, nothing extra. "The check-in desk was in the restaurant located around the corner from the hotel. The clerk handed me four keys on a ring and walked with me to the hotel. The first key opened the building, the second opened a hallway that had four rooms, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The third key unlocked the room I booked and the fourth unlocked my private bathroom. As I entered the bedroom, it had an unpleasant smell and I mentioned this to the clerk who had no comment. "The food was truly amazing. Evening dinner and the organic breakfast was to top restaurant standard. Everything was very thoughtfully done to a very high standard from gorgeous antique furniture, decor to monogrammed towels and really nice toiletries. We loved it but just had one problem which probably was particular to our room on the ground floor. The outside stone wall was very damp.
