"Lovely hotel, in a perfect location. It was very hot when we stayed and our poor little car was melting, the staff kindly allowed us to park in the underground garage. Clean, spacious room, didn’t use the pool as wasn’t there for that long, but would definitely come back "

"This was truly a gem within walking distance to the town centre. We adored the gardens, lobby and resting areas, and the spacious room and the pool. The interior furnishings were luxurious. The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place. "

Unfortunately, when we went to bed we could only turn aircon down to 21C and it was a hot night. Reported it in the morning and they were going to have a look and rectify problem!"

The Chef even made off-menu vegetarian meals for us, to ensure we had variety. The wonderful front office, restaurant and cleaning staff took our stay to the next level. "Small hotel that states 2 star but the room was clean and suitable for a short stay the breakfast was good. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the town shops and restaurants. There is parking in a church car park behind the hotel which is free after 1830 and all Sunday, there is some building works going on but this did not impact uas at all. "

"Location, location, location! Very old part of the city and some areas around are not in good shape! The apartment does not have internet but is otherwise well equipped. The view of the Loire out the front windows is lovely. Nice to watch the boats go by. If elderly with lots of luggage, this apartment is not for you! Very old narrow winding staircase to the apartment on the top floor! The proprietor is lovely and very helpful!!!"
