"Maison très fonctionnelle avec un joli jardin. Le confort était au rdv en tout point : ventilateur , matelas bébé, chaise bébé etc. Rue très passante mais l'annonce le stipulait bien . Clémence a été très accueillante."

"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"This was a great place in the beautiful French countryside. Clean, quiet and plenty of room for two. Excellent jumping off point to Chablis, Dijon and other nearby towns/villages."

Der nächste Bäcker mit leckerem Brot und Croissants ist mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten zu erreichen - in Nuars. Abel hat uns herzlichen in Empfang genommen. Er hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und uns auch Honig vom ortsansässigen Imker besorgt - sehr zu empfehlen. "We were very happy with the offering at this hotel, we were able to secure a room for Friday night on short notice. The staff were very friendly and we experienced the most efficient check in of any hotel. Very quick, no wasted effort, and a friendly exchange with the counter staff. After a change of shift overnight, the staff continued to be friendly and engaging with the customers. The room is as advertised, everything is comfortable and clean. Very acceptable level of quality, it is not fancy or boutique yet it is a very high value offering for the price point. We had the breakfast, that was as advertised with a good variety on offer, much more than a simple continental breakfast. I would return here again anytime. "

Nice place but not ideal for a triple room

"I stayed one night with 2 friends in a triple room - but we were told at the time of booking that we could be provided with 3 single beds. Turned out not to be the case as our room had a double and a single bed and it was not possible to get 3 single beds. We survived that for one night - but cannot accept to share a bed with a double duvet - so asked reception for an extra duvet. The receptionist tried her best but was only able to provide an extra blanket and a sheet - so not ideal. The highlight for us was no doubt the restaurant. They had a very interesting menu and with some delicious food. The salmon starter I had is one of the best starters I have ever tasted in my life - so a big compliment to the chef. The place also had a nice swimming pool but unfortunately we were there on a rainy day - so didn't get to use it. "

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"
