We had an amazing time at Moon River House. It was a beautifully designed home with tons of room, near the intercoastal water way, and a pool. I would love to visit again sometime in the future.

Majestic Setting

My family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home, which has a majestic waterfront setting, for my Mom's 80th birthday. Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with in coordinating our visit. This property is a rare find and highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend getaway with the entire family! Although the house had TVs in every room, we never needed them—there was just too much to enjoy outside. Between the sparkling pool and the gorgeous dock, there was always something to do: fishing, kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. The home was spotless and decorated with a charming beach theme that made it feel cozy and welcoming. Our host was excellent—quick to respond and so helpful with any questions. Most importantly, The Moon River House gave our family the perfect place to unwind, laugh, and make lasting memories together. We're already planning our next trip to return!

Exceeded our expectations

This was one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. House is well equipped and so nice. There were 6 of us and there was plenty of room.So much to do…swimming, fishing, kayaking. Lisa, the owner was fantastic, making sure we had everything we needed. Grocery stores and great restaurants are close. Hope to come back in the near future.

Spring break 2025

Fantastic family vacation at this wonderful home. The nearby town has a few great spots to eat and the house has literally everything you need to stay in and enjoy the pool, dock, crabbing and fishing and kayaking. It was wonderful.

A Fun, Family Getaway

The Moon River House provided all our family needed for an amazing week away. From fishing on the dock to soaking up the sunshine by the pool, there was so much for everyone to enjoy. Let’s also talk about location! The house was in perfect distance to both Tybee and Savannah, allowing us to visit both the beach and historic landmarks.Above all, Lisa was wonderful to work with and was quick to respond if we had any questions. Great spring weekend getaway!

We stay at a lot of nice VRBO houses, and this was among our favorites. The fishing and kayaking right from the dock are great activities. And the house is well maintained and functional, plus spacious with great views. Lisa is easy to communicate with and super nice. We hope to be back!

Perfect for a girls weekend!

We came to Savannah for a girls trip and this house was perfect! The location is close to the airport, downtown Savannah and the beach. There was plenty of room for us and has the best views. The pool/patio is large and perfect for a relaxing day. Lisa was quick to respond to our questions leading up to and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property!

Peaceful Get away for Christmas.

Lovely House and Lovely Setting

Very homey feel, beautiful house, beautiful setting and equal access to Savannah and Hilton Head. Close to Wormslow and a must visit location … beautiful live oak alley and walk, trolly or bike ride. Seen dolphins by the dock too.
