The apartment is nice and comfortable with a great balcony to enjoy the view. I would recommend getting there during the day since it can be a bit tricky at night. Pay attention to the fact that there are 3 flights of steps to climb, but if steps are not a problem, the view is totally worth it!!!"

"Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. "We had a great stay. Communication was excellent. They answered questions at all hours to help us get the most out of our travel. It was really a very beautiful place to stay. Only downside was the church bells that rang late and early and the rooster that woke you up each morning."

"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"Great hotel, apart from the fact that the room was far too hot and despite asking the team, the heating could not be switched off. On the second night I therefore had to sleep with the window open. Otherwise, great breakfast and dinner, nice and helpful reception team, great atmosphere."
