"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

"The pods are very clean and tidy, nicely secluded within the forest, the whole site is well maintained with good facilities. The coffee and takeaway area was lovely to sit at near the pool, meals in the restaurant were also very good. Good base for cycling around with plenty of tracks and trails, excellent for the celebrations on Ginkel Heath. Would definitely stay again. "

"We stayed here for eight days in October with two couples, both 60+. Everything about the villa was as advertised and more. Especially the living and dining rooms are large and comfortable, the grounds are beautifully maintained, the beds very comfortable, all the amenities excellent, and the hosts were always available and kind and helpful. Montfoort is centrally located and it was wonderful after a busy day of sightseeing to come “home” and not have to unpack but just relax. Highly recommended...

"My room was on the top floor and I had a number of heavy suitcases, so carrying them up was quite exhausting after a long flight and ride from Schiphol. In late August, the room was very warm as it had a glass door on one side and three large windows/doors on the other. So sun most of the day. The doors to the deck are standard european windows, meaning you can open or tilt them but due to there floor to ceiling hight, they were heavy and at times did not catch properly on the top corner that...

"The unit is spacious with a living room bedroogm, kitchen eating area and large bathroom. The owners provided us with coffee for the coffee machine, fresh fruit and fresh flowers. "Cottage très bien équipé, très propre, très lumineux et situé à côté d'un petit plan d'eau magnifique. Personnel à la réception très agréable. "This was our second stay. Last time we appeared to be above the kitchens with associated for slamming. This time we were further away and it was very peaceful. The room was very well laid out and comfortable. Lots of interesting things going on in and around the hotel. Parking can be problematic but we arrive late and leave early, so not a problem for us."
