"This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! Sehr schön fanden wir das wir jeden Morgen extra für uns ausgewählte Brötchen erhalten haben und so ein tolles Frühstück für den Start hatten. Wir fühlten uns wie zuhause und uns fehlte nichts denn wir genossen die unendliche Ruhe die wir zuhause leider nicht haben. Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen und fahren selbst auch gerne wieder dort hin."

We visited during August 2023 and chose this property for its location as one of the adults did not drive and wanted independent access to the local town/surrounding area. The property was spotlessly clean, efficient check in/out procedure and the owner responsive to queries/feedback whilst we were staying in property. Wir haben den gemütlichen aufenthalt genossen und viele schöne ausflüge unternommen (Geierlay-Hängebrücke, Rüdesheimer Weihnachtsmarkt, Zilthausener kugelbahn...). Die wohnung ist perfekt für 2 erwachsene und 2 kinder. Inmitten der ruhe und stille ist jeder komfort vorhanden. Alles verlief reibungslos, aber leider war es viel zu schnell vorbei. "The house is large with well-stocked kitchen and many areas for relaxing, eating and sleeping. We did not know we had to reserve the bedding ahead of time, so had no bedding the first night. This may have partly be due to lack of clear communication as the owner's English was not strong. The house also was not as clean as we would have liked and some elements were not working properly, such as one shower. The washing machine was not available (as it is shared) when we wanted to use it."

"Loved the place but the room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and not only was there no elevator but the stair case was very narrow and difficult to bring the luggage up. We still loved it and understand the way it is looks better so it’s not a con, just think it’s good to know, specially for people traveling with small children like we did. "

A Gem of a Place

"Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters). "

"Staff were nice and helpful, though didn’t fix soap dispenser after i asked. There were things unexplained and it made the stay a little challenging. No drawers or closets for clothes in the rooms made it difficult to arrange clothing during the stay, shower only made the whole floor wet and other users of the bathroom have to walk on wet tile floor and use same wet floor towel. Breakfast was good but a little expensive 14€, even if you only drink one coffee and eat one croissant. Did not try the restaurant at lunch but the menu looked good. Pretty area but next to a dry cleaners and some kind of factory, but there is a supermarket across the street."

"Lovely place to stay and relax, great pool and sauna facilities. Nice restaurant and bar and easy parking. Nothing else around except a separate Italian restaurant which was basic but served fab food at good prices - a nice alternative to the hotel’s own restaurant. Safe and easy parking."
