"Borgo San Pietro is in the charming Tuscan hilltop town of Agnone. We loved being in the historic district and were able to walk everywhere. The hostess, Valentina, was so helpful and always available--she even scheduled a tour in English for us at the Marinelli Bell Foundry. The views from our room were amazing! Be prepared to walk uphill on old Roman streets, some cobblestone. The local residents were all friendly and helpful, especially the Town Hall staff helping us with geneology...

"This home is at the very top of a mountain with scenic views all around. If you are willing to drive, you can visit many surrounding Italian mountain towns full of beauty and history. The people of the town two were friendly and welcoming. One thing to be aware of is there isn’t anywhere to eat so be prepared to travel to a surrounding location for dinner. "We stayed Masseria Acqusalsa for 1 night while making our way from Rome to Termoli. It was absolutely amazing. This farmhouse B&B was exactly what we needed after a long flight from the US to rest and enjoy the Italian countryside. The hosts were friendly and beyond accommodating. They made a lovely dinner recommendation to a wonderful restaurant in Agnone and served a fantastic spread for breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend staying there. "

"We were visiting relatives in nearby Sanpolomatese and this was a fantastic option. The host was lovely and the place had everything we needed and more. Plus it was in a great location. Near restaurants, grocery store, museums and more. (Walking distance). If you have a car parking is a bit of an issue but the host helped out a lot and couldn’t have been any nicer. Overall great experience."
