"A little nervous as contact was the day after we had left England but from that moment on communication from the owner was perfect.......he could not have done enough for us.......the house is beautifully located opposite the lake and has everything you need for your stay. The lake holds a serinity but just ten minutes away is lake iseo for that different but if life. Supermarkets are close. The jet shower is a lovely end to a day if walking or a swim in the lake. "This was mine and my husband’s first time in Italy, we stayed in Lovere for three nights out of our trip. Carmelo and Fabrizia were such wonderful hosts. They made the check in/out process very easy, and promptly answered any questions I had. The apartment is in a GREAT location, a block from the lake and the main town square. And I have to give Carmelo and Fabrizia extra thanks for accommodating the fact that my husband and I do not speak Italian, they were very nice and helped us out a lot!...

"Love the hotel embedded within older buildings within Tirano, yet still fully contemporary. Great location. Very spacious room, and enormous bathroom. Superb brrakfast, especially all of the local cheeses, fruit juices, yogurts, etc. The only reason for 4 atars rather than 5 was just how hard the bed was. For a side sleeper that us unbelievably uncomfortable and making for a more restless night. For mu stomach sleeping husband, it was perfect."

A jewel in a charming city

"Hotel Centrale is a jewel hotel. The staff at reception, Giovanni and Irena, were friendly and helpful and it showed that they really care about their guests having a great stay. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the washroom was very clean. They served a very good breakfast.The location was within walking distance of the train station and excellent restaurants. It was a good starting point for walks around the beautiful city. We would highly recommend this hotel."
