"A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. "We stayed at Leiwen for 6 days and had a fantastic time. It is a quaint, little German town on the Mosel. We walked everywhere in the town: information center, bakery, grocery, pubs, and restaurants. Took a bus to Treir, Mosel river cruise to Berncastle, car trip to Berg Eltz castle. The cottage was much more than we imagined. It had a very comfortable living area with back yard and patio."

"Wir haben die Unterkunft gemietet als Schlafdomizil bei der Hochzeit unserer Tochter. Wir waren 6 Erwachsene mit kleinem Hund, davon war eine Person kognitiv eingeschränkt. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und es war Ihnen nichts zu viel. Selbst als wir kurzfristig für die 2 weiteren Personen angefragt haben wurde dies sofort bestätigt. Das einzige was in der Beschreibung fehlt ist dass es sich um Durchgangszimmer handelt bei den Schlafzimmern. Was uns jetzt nicht gestört hat. Jederzeit gerne...

"Lovely place to stay and relax, great pool and sauna facilities. Nice restaurant and bar and easy parking. Nothing else around except a separate Italian restaurant which was basic but served fab food at good prices - a nice alternative to the hotel’s own restaurant. Safe and easy parking."

"This is a large hotel but when we arrived there was no sign of life. Eventually, we found a guy cutting the grass who phoned his boss and managed to get the key. The restaurant was closed too so we had to go elsewhere to find a meal which could have been tricky in this rather remote location. However we did find a restaurant only about 15 minutes away. Our room at the hotel was clean and spacious. Next morning our friend on the lawn mower had laid on an excellent breakfast and we were sorry that we couldn't stay longer. I think the hotel often hosts large functions but this night it was empty and we were rather surprised that Hotels.com had booked us in,"
