The very comfortable and spacious 230 square meter apartment Watzmann offers with its characterful rooms an absolutely romantic backdrop for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Berchtesgadener country.

The luxurious 90 square meter living room has a ceiling height of over 4 meters and has the character of a rural banqueting hall with its high-quality fittings, the nested oak wood ceiling, the huge windows and the large dining table in the middle of the room.

The beautiful, cozy Zirbenstube with the artistic wood paneling invites you to linger. This former library is the perfect retreat for guests who want to relax a bit after a strenuous mountain hike in the Berchtesgaden Alps.

The apartment offers 3 large bedrooms each with a double bed, a well equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, tub and toilet and a separate toilet.
Two of the bedrooms and the Zirbenstube have a common sun terrace which is accessible through each of the rooms.
All rooms combine sophisticated country house style with modern elements to make our guests to offer maximum comfort.

Should you we can be more than 6 guest you to book the upper floor the apartment Watzmann. There is a cozy 6-bed room with 3 double beds, a lounge, a bathroom with shower / WC and a small kitchen.

The surrounding mountains can be admired from the terrace and from two square kilometer, park-like plot. The fabulous scenery is ideal for taking a break from everyday life, enjoying sunsets in the mountains or having a barbecue with your loved ones.

Fabulous home
This home is simply wonderful. I call it a home because it is huge, with a ballroom-sized dining room/living room with tall coffered ceiling, and three big bedrooms. Everything in the home is thoughtful, beautiful, and in perfect order. Then you walk out on the 40-foot veranda and look at the beautiful garden and view of the tall mountains. As beautiful as everything was in the home, my small children especially liked the massage chair. The area is great: we spent 8 days with kids and found wonderful things to do each day, from hiking in gorgeous mountains, boat rides on stunning lakes, exciting hikes in narrow river gorges, ice caves, Sound of Music tours in Salzburg, etc., etc. etc.. This is the perfect home in a wonderful area.

Stayed 10 days, a party of 5 including 1 in a wheelchair-2 small steps at the entrance-and the ground floor accommodation was more than we expected. The house is BIG,a huge lounge,more like a banqueting hall with a smaller wood panelled room with TV, 3 spacious double bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms and a toilet. The terrace is accessed from 2 of the bedrooms and the panelled room and overlooks the owners garden while staying private with views to mountains across the valley. The owner Christoph was friendly and helpful when needed. For wheelchair users who can go up 2 10cm steps I would strongly this place as it also has a bathroom with a walk in shower.
