"This was a great experience. I really liked the downtown area, how easy check-in was, the bed, and my bathroom. Two things I missed were a worktable (the tiny kitchen table was too small) and a bed stand. "

"The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"

"The property and rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast is not available but a ahort ride into town iffers several options for eating. Keep in mind that there is not an elevator and it seems that the rooms are on higher levels. Overall I would recommend staying here as it is secure and a lovely place."

"Overall we enjoy the stay very much. We used the sauna and pool which are in great conditions. The room is very large and has all necessary things. The only problem was the parking. There weren't enough places and people parked on the electrical chargers so we couldn't use them"

Nice kitchen, good bathroom, bed were good enough (although might need replacing some tome soon). The balcony is lovely in the morning for breakfast amd the garden is great for drinks and lazing around. Swimming in the lake is great! The only down side was the neighbours macross the road making a noise."

"The only negative was that other guest’s dog lefy 2 piles of geces in the corridet. Someone tried to remove it but left 2 significant feces smears on the carpet. We immediately notified front desk receptionist. Then next morning we told the housekeeper who was aware. "Everything about this hotel works well. Good location near the city centre but is quiet during the night. Try and get a garden room rather than one facing the street. Breakfast is eye watering in price but it’s nice. Restaurant can do an evening meal but it’s not a great choice."

"Self check-in can be a bit fiddly but everything else is very decent and close to Basel SBB station (where a basement level supermarket is). Staff from adjacent (associated) hotels would help you if needed. Comfortable bed, big screen & complementary espresso machine. Happy to stay again."
