This Viceroy is not as nice as the photos online but the staff was very nice. Our room was super small. There was no fan in the bathroom or shower. No coffee bar but you can buy a latte at a window and they only offer take away cups. We saw ladies of the night passing through the lobby at least twice but that’s not the hotel’s fault. For the $380 I paid, there’s better.

We had a pleasant stay at the Fairmont in December. The hotel was clean, located in a great spot, and had the basic amenities we needed. There were some aspects of the room that showed their age (a light was missing in the bathroom and we could see into the ceiling) and the elevators were painfully slow for access to high floors, but for a quick weekend trip it was a good choice. Due to lack of refrigerators in rooms and noise levels we would probably not choose this location for a longer stay in the future.

great location, but just note that the train runs 24/7 outside of your window (they offer ear plugs) and the loud city noises can be difficult to sleep with if you’re not used to them (constant car horns / sirens echoing).

"The last day of my stay, a guy with a huge balloon in the shape of a rat was making a lot of noise with a speaker at the main door of the hotel, something very unpleasant. I don't understand why the hotel allowed that."
