Stink Bug Infestation in the Main Bedroom
Had to kill over 20 for an hour before going to bed. Luckily they were not in the sheets but they were on the bed. Tried to speak with management about this and checked out early, but they wouldn't give me a refund. Would not recommend. The reviews seemed so good, but this place hasn't been cleaned/exterminated in a long time, and it showed when we arrived.

Paradise Found!
I decided to reserve the cabin instead of a hotel during an 11 day stay in June. That decision changed an ordinary work stay to an experience that i will never forget. The cabin is awesome, but the property is what makes this so incredible. The forest and stream on property are heaven on earth and you can explore and find new things everyday. I cant describe here or recommend enough!!

This property was such a magical experience, it felt like a home away from home. The cabin was so cozy and the porch was wonderful, we drank tea on it every morning. There was a fire pit in the front yard and a fire pit by the creek, both were so much fun. The creek was incredible as well as the animals and fruit trees on the property. The hosts were some of the kindest people ive ever met, Palma is a great conversationist. The minor noises i heard hardly bothered me since i was surrounded by the ambience of the property. i stayed four days and still felt like there was alot more i could've explored. If you want a place to get away in nature, while still having modern day amenities, this magical place is for you.

Beautiful cabin/farm property
Loved our 2 night stay at this property. Only 30 min away from silver falls state park. We were able to meet the owners and they were very kind. Let us explore the and walk through the back of their property next to get to the creek. So many farm animals and fruit trees to admire! Saw couple deers. The cabin was beautifully designed. Loved the fresh coffee beans and tea. Was able to have fresh coffee and tea in the morning and they had a fridge and microwave available. Very quiet at night and clean property. Would stay here again!!

Quiet and serene, beautiful property for hiking, animals for company. Being on the river, you need to expect bugs (if you can't deal with them you won't be comfortable). As for a place to unwind, you can't beat it.

Nice place to get away. Didn't know about burn ban until we arrived. Little fridge needed attention. Freezer door fell off...made loud noises all night and just died next morning. Management called but nothing done to rectify situation. Didn't let that ruin our weekend.

A possible improvement
While there is no bathroom in the unit, clearly stated in posting, a source of running water would improve the experience immensely.

Came up for a wedding and found this cabin not too far from the event. My grandson joined me the first night and had a blast. We walked the creek area where he found a challenge course. The barn, where we played many games of ping pong, was also a hit. Met Sadie, the Watusi Longhorn and Maggie, the sweet fur baby. I would definitely recommend this cabin. The owners are very accommodating.

Just the getaway we needed and even enjoyed fishing the creek! The barn is a great space for dancing and wr enjoyed it's comfort having fun with music and ping pong. Enjoyed the clean restrooms and showers. Even got to watch a few movies off of Amazon Prime with their Roku, not to mention grill! Thanks for a great stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Idyllic stay in the country
It was my 71st birthday and I wanted to spend it hiking through the waterfalls at Silver Falls State Park and staying somewhere quiet and cozy at night. This place totally fit the bill! The one-room cottage was warm and inviting, immaculately clean. The bed was so comfortable. I am fussy about mattresses and this one was better than mine at home. It was very private but the host couple live on the property and are available at a moment’s notice if needed for anything. The spacious and private bathroom and showers are a short walk away, the area is well-lit at night, again immaculate, rustic but not funky. We also had sole access to a barn that has been converted to an activity room. Beautiful cement floors, comfortable furniture. There’s a wood stove, pingpong table and an impossible thousand piece jigsaw puzzle that we added a few pieces to. Again everything immaculate. An old horse wanders around the yard as well as a gentle elderly dog. If the dog is invited, he will come to sit with you on the cottage porch and get some gentle pets but if you don’t want his company he won’t approach. There are beautiful colorful chickens, like moving art pieces, that wander over to take a look at you and then wander off. A short amble takes you to the Thomas River which was roaring this Spring, although our hostess told us you can walk across it in the late summer. All in all if you want a rustic, private stay in a clean well-appointed room, you can’t go wrong here. And don’t miss the 10 waterfalls and the amazing WPA, CCA rock work at Silver Falls State Park. Simply astounding.

Didn’t meet expectations
The door lock needs to be explained before you arrive. There was no fire pit by cabin like in the pictures, they didn’t have the cute little deck and chairs and umbrella down by the creek like pictured. I did like that there were many stalls in bathroom, and I loved the barn and playing ping pong. The owner was very nice and lit a fire for us a couple of the nights. I just wish I was more informed before selecting

Best glamping by river w amazing sunsets
Palma, our host, was so wonderful! She gave us chairs to bring down to the river so we could watch the sunset. She brought my daughter hot chocolate and opened up the barn so we could hang out and my daughter could do her college homework by the fire and then we played ping pong. There was a big puzzle on the table. Towels and shampoo and conditioner were provided. Cottage is cozy and warm with all the amenities. Even fresh coffee beans specially roasted by her son in Texas just for this cottage. The town is cute, with many covered bridges to find and explore. Very relaxing weekend!!! We will be coming back!! Nice mother-daughter weekend
