I stayed here because it was the most affordable, but the place is not the greatest, there were mice droppings in our room, bathroom was very dingy, room smelled moldy and floor was super sticky.

Dear Expedia Customer Service, I am writing to inform you of an issue I experienced during my recent stay at the Red Lion Hotel, booked through your platform. Unfortunately, I had to check out early due to unsafe conditions that posed a serious risk to my children, particularly my 4-year-old, who suffers from asthma. The primary concerns included: 1. A pervasive smell of marijuana throughout the hotel, which triggered uncontrollable coughing in my child. 2. The heater in the room was not functioning properly, leaving the space uncomfortably cold. 3. The furniture in the room was not securely fastened, creating a safety hazard for my young children. Given these issues, we felt it was unsafe and unsuitable to continue our stay. I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter, including a possible refund or credit for the unused portion of our reservation.

Paid way too much for jacuzzi suite heroin addicts asleep by front door pitbulls inside drug dealers the sheets and blankets were obviously dirty and unchanged hair in the tub the girl asked for $50 to check in before 3pm then said give a good review and we can check in early floor was dirty room stinks all around gross people out in parking lot all night cops all over just a dope feind spot

Upon entering the lobby, I was hit by the overpowering smell of Marijuana. The front deck clerk spoke very poor English and was extremely high. The smell of Marijuana wafted throughout the entire building, including into our room. Once entering the room, it wreaked of cigarette smoke. The "secure" parking area had people doing drugs and sleeping in their cars. At 2 am we were woken up by the front desk clerk pounding on our door telling us we were in the wrong room. The card key worked for the room we were in, and it was the room he had wrote on the card holder. We WERE supposed to be in a different room. We didn't know that until check-out when I asked for our receipt. When we went to leave and got to our car, it was covered in cigarette ashes and butts front someone smoking out of their room window. I highly discourage ANYONE from staying at the Red Lion in Auburn, WA. It was THE WORST NIGHT EVER!

The entire hotel smelled like smoke mixed with excessive amounts of fragrance. All of our belongings now smell like this. The hotel was dirty and run down. Our room had stains on the walls, a busted door lock, and was dirty everywhere. It smelled like smoke and fragrance, but was supposedly a smoke-free room. The entire hotel felt unsafe. Seemed to be illegal activities going on by other guests. One guest was being carted off into an ambulance in the morning. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

The flooring in the room was coming up. When we went into the room i tripped on the flooring. One bedside table had been chewed up by previous dogs staying there. If this is how people with a dog are treated, by being given a crappy room cause of them having their pet with them i know i will not be staying there again. I didn't feel safe with all the people hanging out there all hours of the night and having my dog wake me to take her out to potty during the night.
