This lodge is so idyllic, peaceful, beautiful. The Saint Edward State Park gracefully adorns and surrounds this beautiful, sweet, comfortable gorgeous art filled stunning property. The restaurant, the coffee café, and room service are all exceptional five star quality. In fact, when I ordered room service last night, I ordered what I thought was a small meal. It would’ve been enough for three people. This is an exceptional retreat place for couples family or corporate very well run and efficient. I will be returning many times in the future.

Beautifully appointed facility given it was a seminary before being remodeled. Extensive art display was impressive. Staff, food and service very good. Rooms need some help. No dressers. We had to ask for a foldout luggage holder and a hair dryer. Our other suitcase remained on the floor. Stairs leading us to our room after we got off on the third floor were hard to navigate with our luggage. We should have been informed. Otherwise a good experience. A bit pricey but still acceptable for a special occasion.

This hotel is fantastic. We loved the tasteful room, dinner at the restaurant, library and biking. You can rent a bicycle and strolling around the area. I wan to come back again!

Appreciate that valet was included. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the art gallery hallways. Also appreciated their details, welcoming me w some birthday treats and items for my dog. There was an odd “vibrating” sound that would occur around 6-8 times an hour in the room. The a/c unit on the ceiling had a loose cover that would hang. The toilet ran for a bit as well. These made it hard to sleep.

As a long time visitor of St Edwards State Park, this was my first time staying at the lodge since it’s opened. I was quite impressed - the rooms are well done and extremely quiet, and the building is done well.

I visited in June 2024 for business. This is such a hidden gem. The staff and the rooms, dining, area, ALL 5 star. I can’t express it enough. And there is complimentary valet? Unreal. I will be coming back in the fall, gauranteed for some R&R amongst the fall foliage.
