I also loved the fact that it was very warm in the room, it helps to have excellent heating in the middle of winter when temperature hits negatives. I loved the lobby, too; very London vibe to be able to sit there and work in the morning. The breakfast is also very nice and I personally loved the mushrooms and the ikra / taramasalata they had. Probably one of the best I've had ever. The breakfast is a combo of English and Continental; the basics of scrambled eggs and bacon were good, but also some specific Romanian dips were there. I really liked the fact that the breakfast was included and I did not have to pay for it separately. The other thing I loved is that they have a restaurant next to the hotel and I could have dinner there; they have a very diverse menu, can't imagine that someone would not find something that would make them happy there: I decided to try the hamburger and it was delicious. The people at reception was super nice and accommodating; I needed extra batteries for my medical device and they provided them at no extra cost. Overall, a great stay for me, and I will definitely come back this summer for the garden and the spa that will be opened in a few months!"

"Our week at Casa Nicu was just what we had hoped for. This is a slightly rustic unit but is clean and has everything you need. Some of their other units are more modern but don’t have some of the character this one does. Werner was excellent at communicating all along and was waiting at our arrival. If we needed anything someone was there in minutes but they never intruded. My one suggestion was a couple of comfortable chairs to sit in for the evening and a few minutes later we had a couple of loungers that made it much more comfortable. If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel experience keep looking but if you like quiet rustic check this out."
