"Once we found the property, it was nice. A little smaller than we expected. But nice… The problem was the hell we had finding the place. The steepness of the paths were ridiculous. "Pecan Cottage was everything we could’ve hoped for. We booked this place a year in advance because of the backyard play area! It was amazing to entertain the little ones! The house is perfectly located to anything New Braunfels and Gruene offers. Book it. You won’t regret it!"

"Pros: lots of beds, lots of towels, pretty kitchen with plenty of pantry and fridge space. Cons: All but the owners room and bathroom had guaze/sheer curtains so no way to block the sun or prying eyes (for the bathroom). There were two bedrooms where the doors malfunctions. One due to the hinges coming off but never fixed and the two doors required special work to keep closed. The water never got warmer than a tepid warm. Overall, it served our purposes but it wasn’t in great shape. "
