Il n’y a que des stores non opaques qui ne permettent pas de conserver la fraîcheur dans la maison en pleine canicule et laisse passer la lumière dès le lever du jour! "A lovely stay in the countryside near Lyon. Very friendly and welcoming staff who were attentive. Good dinner in the restaurant- the only option for miles on a Sunday evening! Glad they had the heater turned up in the room before I arrived or else I’d have been freezing. "

"Lovely place to stop over on the way home, pool a good size and lovely to swim in, lots of sun beds. Only dropped a star as the bathrooms were very tiny (my husband is nearly 2m) and dated, also it was a challenge to carry 3 very heavy cases to the room without a lift. We had a family room which was in the chateau and was spacious with plenty of storage etc. Kids enjoyed it! Area was beautiful, staff very helpful and friendly. Would use again. "

Nice hotel, awful staff

"The hotel itself is OK. It gives off this vibe like someone really cared when it started, the rooms and furnishings are really nice, but then completely gave up, as the details are cheap and staff is tragic. The checkin lady made me feel like her day’s worst burden, then said that the restaurant only sells frozen pizza and if we want something edible, we can drive elsewhere (in an establishment named Hotel Restaurant Riccoty). Later, when paying for the city tax, it took her good 5 minutes to come up with a bill for €1,48. To top it off, the staff forgot to call us a taxi, despite being repeatedly reminded that we really need it to be there early morning, less we miss our flight. Luckily, an Uber was near and flight caught, but I will never set foot in this hotel again. "

"Beautiful room with large terrace overlooking the lake. Stunning views. Lovely staff. We didn’t have breakfast because at €18 for a continental breakfast, we thought it was a bit expensive. Parking is a bit tricky. Nice walk to the lakeshore where there were several restaurants open for dinner. Aix is still very quiet in mid May, with lots of restaurants and facilities still closed. "
