The reception staff was not friendly. The room was very run down e.g the entrance door was broken, the wall in the hotel was dirty, the bedsheet also old and seem not change from the previous stay. The breakfast food was not nice at all.

Staff is wonderful at this property. Very friendly, polite, professional. Thanks to the team and their excellent attitudes and hospitality, this was not a complete disappointment. I can NOT be the first to point out how bad the physical state of this property is. If I had not pre-paid, I would have stayed elsewhere after seeing the room. FILTHY! Bathroom had the vague smell of sewage. Mold was in the shower and around the sink. Floor was not clean. Bed linen was HORRIBLE! Towels smelled after slight wetness like drying hands. Nothing other than floor towel and bath towel provided, but ONLY after requesting them. Bleach needs to be used and linen needs to be replaced periodically. Whatever year this property was opened was likely the only time anything was replaced or renovated. Everything at the Ibis Semarang Hotel needs to be replaced, but this will not happen because as stated before many others MUST have made similar obsevations in the past, yet the property is still aweful. I wish I had the foresight to have checked. Accor should be embarassed and should do the right thing. Will they? Why have they not yet done anything?

that was bad experience to stay in there. location is very good. but...toilet not clean, towel too. many small ants on d table in my room even no food in there. finally, when breakfast time... variants of food not many choise, d taste was standard, n ddidntbhas brown sugar. saya tidak akan back to here for next time, if d cobdition still like that.

Facilities now becoming a bit old and run down however it is still decent for a night or two.. Location is good few minutes away from simpang lima area, walking distsnce to convenient store. Staff was friendly and helpful

First time staying at Ibis Hotel and no regrets
Nothing to complain about. Hotel staff were all very courteous & friendly. Room was clean & the buffet breakfast was excellent. Would choose to stay there again
